Except unlike K-On!, the girls do practice their art.

EDIT: Here's a short version of the PV.

It's 24 episodes.

Then my plan to rewatch Xenoglossia alongside it can go on unhindered.

I have no idea why I came up with such a plan, but it's been a few years since I've seen it, and I rarely do rewatches, so comparing the parallel worlds might be worth a shot. I just need to figure out what the linguistic opposite of "xenoglossia" is...

You see, the DVD/Blu-Ray will be black and white and will have no audio.
There will be BandaiNamco's good ol' DLC marketing and you will have to buy the colors and audio for each episode separately.

Oh, so true. Everyone whose gotten a taste of one of the three games available for the Xbox 360 (1, Live for You, and 2) knows this for a fact. Here's hoping they don't make it so we even have to buy our own subtitles, ne?

I wish you the best of luck, faithful viewer. Xenoglossia was a trash adaptation. Creative, but still trash.

Oh, lol. But yeah, all that priced DLC stuff is ridiculous. Pretty much the same happens with Dream C Club.

I'm rather interested in watching this series purely based on the fact that I like the character designs. Some people mentioning that this possibly being K-on with pop idols...but I didn't quite like the character design in K-on.

I'm rather astounded how much I like the design aesthetic here.

I find the comparisons with K-On rather unusual, since Idolm@ster doesn't take place in a school setting, nor are the girls amateurs. They are full-fledged idols already practicing their craft, which is what we see in the PV's. It might be a slice of life perhaps, but not quite K-On.

I think it had to do with the rumor I heard how the male producer from the game is apparently not a character in the anime. Thus leading to some comparisons of the series being *cute girls doing cute things*.

The producer is replaced by Ritsuko Okazaki ?

Ah, the Koihime/Milky Holmes way of doing things. I'm perfectly okay with that every once in a while.
