The scrolling onscreen comments are fun, IMO. There's not enough space on the screen to actually say more than a few phrases at a time, but you get to see everyone else's reactions to stuff. It's sort of like watching the show with a whole bunch of people in an IM chatroom. Or if you don't like them, you can turn them off and it works just like any other streaming site.

The french translation is actually pretty good. They still say Kotomine is the hero of the story though, so there's most likely a problem with the original summary.

The original japanese text doesn't mention 主人公 or anything similar.
That part really comes from nowhere I guess.

To be fair, the rest of the summary makes it seem like the story is about Kirei and that Kiritsugu is the bad guy, so if they had absolutely no background knowledge at all, its a reasonable mistake.

Still made me laugh though xD

German translation is okay. A few small grammar mistakes (though I have to admit they sound more like a translation machine than the usual mistakes foreigners make...) and the terminology (Servant, Master, Holy Grail war bleh) is a bit weird but you can get the full content from the translation.

And about the hero stuff, in this translation they say Shirous foster father, Rin's father and the young Kirei Kotomine are the heroes of the story, so it's probably more meant in terms of main character and such

Hahaha this is such a great translation. I actually had to look up what "vocation" means. And I like how 令呪 (Command Seal/Spell) becomes "incantation". I bet 宝具 (Noble Phantasm) ends up being translated as "treasured tool" or something
