All channels on TV had their debate on ALICE, that it was impossible to create an AI that is so identical to human beings. It looks like RATH would open a press conference regarding ALICE, with the speaker from RATH are Alice (an ALICE herself) and Prof. Rinko. Alice has a robot body specially made for her, with its skin made by silicon, wearing Asuna's school uniform. The talks were about Alice ofc, and about fluctlight's (artificial soul) human rights, etc.
The press conference was abruptly ended with Alice leaving the place suddenly saying that she have a sudden errand to do. It turned out that Alice went to the Roppongi RATH lab, where Kirito and Asuna were still in coma. The two of them had finally awaken. (tomtkp: remember what happened at the end of Chapter 8?)
The scene then changed to the hospital where the two (Kirito and Asuna) were having their rehabilitation, Kikuoka visited Kirito, while Asuna had already been allowed to leave the hospital a few days ago while Kirito still needed more treatment.
The 3 of them had a conversation, which was mainly about the possible fate of UW, as the Ocean Turtle was now in the hands of the government now. They wanted to close down the OT and put the control under them, but they can't, because if they did it'll be made clear that the USA was behind the attack and the government itself had received their money to stop the Aegis(tomtkp: I think it was the ship that was supposed to protect Ocean Turtle from any attacks) to move that time. (tomtkp: It's a corruption scandal!!!!!)
The only solution would be to get the artificial fluctlight their human rights. And for that it would need lots of Real World people to dive into UW, have a direct communications with the people of UW, to show how human and how real the people of UW were.
The problem was that they didn't have the line/server to connect to OT and UW.
The scene switched again to ALO, where they (Kirito and Asuna) had a big meeting with the ALO players about that incident (UW War), also to give the info of what really happened there to the players who sacrificed their account and helped Kirito and friends on that war.
The scene ended with Alice calling for Kirito, and told him that she was in a deep depression.
On the other hand, Higa already was hesitating for one hour whether he will press the enter button.
The enter button would start the program of activating the copy of someone's fluctlight. In an experiment long time ago, his own (Higa's) copy started to collapse after only a minute. He made up his mind and pressed the enter button and activated the copied soul of Kirito. Copy Kirito asked: "Is that Higa there?". Copy Kirito explained that he already predicted that this can happen (when he was still the real Kirito), that if both him and Asuna's fluctlight were copied and activated they (the copy) will use their time to try and act for the unison of Real World and UW. If only Asuna was copied, she would ask to be erased at once. If it was Kirito only, he would fight for UW's sake as he already understood that UW was in an unstable condition right now, referring to how UW needed electricity to only keep going on, etc. The conversation ended with copy Kirito coming up with a solution, that they needed the help of Kayaba (Heathcliff) while Higa noticed the time had passed over 1 minute since copy Kirito had been activated...
The scene changed again to Kirito's house. Sugu asked Kirito to tell her all about what happened at UW, after coming to his room finding that Kirito cried out loud about Yujio.
In the morning, Rinko called Kirito and told him that Alice was missing.
After a few moments, a postman came on, sending quite a big package. Kirito opened it up and screamed to find pieces of bodies inside, who was Alice's. He helped her to assemble her into one whole body again.
Alice told him that she always wanted a time to have a talk with real Kirito, and that she was really angry that Kirito didn't tell her that they might won't be able to meet each other again that time(because of the FLA going out of control). He called Rinko, she apologized and would let Alice to have a night at Kirito's house.
Then, he guided her around the house, and got to the doujo and had a sword practice there. The result was a win for Alice as she used her headbutt on Kirito. It ended with Alice on top of Kirito.
The night Alice had a dinner with Kirito and family(dad, mom, and Suguha). Kirito used the chance to tell his father that he want to go to the university to study electronics. In the night before he sleeped, he said goodbye to MMO only to find that he can't a few moments later.
Then, Alice came to Kirito's room and pass to him a printed email sent to him by someone. It was a code and when the code was solved, it actually showed an IP address. Kirito understood it immediately that it was an address for a server, a line that can be used to dive into UW. He left a note for the family and left with Alice to RATH lab and also invited Asuna as well.
The three met there, the girls had a catfight a bit and Kirito left them both and went inside.
The 3 dived into UW, and found themselves at the space...

Prologue is really short. It's about how they beat a space monster and ended with the 3 of them waving their hands at 2 Integrators (Integrator Knights in UW) they helped to beat the monsters.
