Ichi (Shimozawa Kan, Shinohara Hana)

Just wondering if anyone here reads this manga?

Summary from Baka-Updates:
Quote:
Ichi is a lone goze (blind woman singer) who has become separated from her traveling entertainment troupe. Wondering how she will find her place in life, she carries only a shamisen (a traditional Japanese stringed instrument) and a walking stick with a hidden blade inside. When necessary, she uses her exceptional sword skills to fight off yakuza and other villains.
It is seinen.

Shinohara Hana is the artist and co-writer with Shimozawa Kan. The art is beautiful in my opinion and the story is interesting, although it can be considered your usual Edo-period story with samurai fighting (still curious about Ichi's past since she is an interesting character).

So far liked both main characters, Ichi and Touma. Didn't expect the Shisengumi to be here (but keeping in mind the years it is set, it shouldn't be a surprise).

As a curiosity, the artist also drew the manga adaptation of Hakuoki Sekkaroku and participated in Hakuoki Jurenka anthology
