Why do you think that Accelerator younger than Touma? I think he looks older than Touma. I would like to hear feedback on this, it is quite an interesting question for me.

Touma is a 'greenhorn' or 'Amateur' because he isn't professionally trained in this line of work, in fact- this isn't his 'line of work' either as he's first and foremost a student not in the payroll of any organization.

Yes he now has experience and has developed his own skill-set, but he's still not a 'professional' by definition.

Well, despite his lack of "professionalism" the fact that he's cheated death multiple times is definitely saying something.

Like you said he's growing, and I feel like he's better the way he is in terms of his own personal growth and methods on how he gets the job done.

Nothing yet considering that is ZW story, Heavy Object, and the Valkryie novel project he's working on are getting released sooner than we think.

We probably won't hear anything about NT for a while I'm afraid.

As I said, it was an example, their ages could be reverse or they could be the same age. Yomikawa&Komoe went and greeted Accelerator, meaning it is likely Touma&Accelerator are in the same grade, as Komoe teaches Touma's class.
Though no sure, I think I read somewhere in the novel that Touma is 16.
