Dudes...seriously. I'm done. How long has Aizen been unbeatable? One year, two? I can't take this anymore- I can't take knowing what's going to happen EACH and EVERY CHAPTER ("Oh, guess what? Aizen lives! What a surpr-NOT!!!"). I'm just going to save up money until the Zanpakutou Tales fillers come out in English so that I can buy them, because honestly Kubo, that was some of the best storytelling I'd seen in Bleach these past two years, and buying those DVDs will be among the very few ways I'll even support you anymore. I'm not going to waste money buying volume after volume of "Aizen Lives"- well, unless Histugaya is in there.

Sorry if this sounds redundant, or too hopeless, or whatever, but...*tears hair out*

EDIT: Though I will admit that the revelation of Gin's motivation in life was pretty cool. o.o Now if only that wasn't paired up with more Aizen Ex Machina. -_-

just saw the chapter. I'm pretty sure this marks the first time in the series where Kubo drew Aizen looking genuinely enraged and furious. I like it.

The moment I started reading the summary, I saw "Chapter Begins with a Flashback" and immediately stopped due to how afraid I was.

That said, Gin's flashback is both a good and bad thing. For one, we finally get to see Gin's motivation, and I have plus a million more respect for the guy because of it. At the same time, his days in canon seem to be truly numbered now that he has had his flashback, though it may take a few hundered more chapters since Kubo really likes dragging things out for no particular reason.

But getting killed by a Papillon wanabee... I'm not sure if that's better or worse than Tousen's fate.

It was good to see Aizen finally lose his cool and rage as hard as he could. Too bad he went back into god mode five seconds later.

I'm still as confused about this flashback after reading the whole chapter. That black ball probably isn't the hougyoku, but the fact it looks exactly like it is confusing. Oh, and look, baldy is back!

Agree'd 100%. The ragegasm actually had me thinking this would be a good chapter.

At least Aizen looks a bit more Godly now, but I'm still having a hard time believing that Ichigo's Final Getsuga will hurt Aizen more than Gin's Bankai or any other attack thus far. Beating someone this strong should really be a collaborative effort.

Yeah that part actually was pretty cool.

Though I don't know if it was so much Aizen losing his temper or unleashing his full power. Either way, it's the most emotion Aizen's face has shown. Ever.

The butterfly wings are ridiculous. Overall, Aizen still comes off as a ominous figure, but I hope they come off soon.

The flashback was interesting. Ties in nicely to Rangiku's memory of her first meeting with Gin. Looks like Aizen sic'd some goons on her. Of course, what she has to to do with Hougyoku (or whatever that thing was) and why she was attacked doesn't really make sense. But Gin opens his eyes for the 2nd or 3rd time in the series, so that makes the flashback worth it.

Oh yeah. I'm not sure if this was coincidence or not, but the guy Aizen gives the orb to looks just like one of the shinigami that escorts Orihime through the senkaimon (the one Ulq messes up). I'm pretty sure it's him. Of course who knows whether that'll turn out to be important or not

so, what, did aizen go bankai or was this just a completely random powerup that would only trigger if he was near death, or was he just messing around this whole time as usual and had to slip into this form sooner than he wanted?

Also, I actually liked this flashback alot, yeah, no one knows what the hell is possibly means but it had a good vibe, but it also most likely means Gin is gonna die very soon, which is sad, as I think he needs more character development. Hopefully he lives on.

and it's kinda boring that ichigo will most likely be the only one who will ever do any real damage to aizen. Having him seem to get hurt only to come back stronger than ever with a smirk on his face is getting old.
