well, im not at all playing it but thanks for asking. do you mean the game in general? i'd personally recommend taking a look at the game. back in summer i spent quite some time on it. i enjoyed the bonus scenario as well. by the way a few people were discussing the game at gamefaqs forums but there's nothing there at the moment.
i'd say that a person who played a lot of bishoujo games will be a bit disappointed but i think it's worth having it in your collection. for my part i was interested because i understood japanese there. if you like something more serious it's better to get d.c ii or really?really!

Oh really? That's interesting to know. Personally due to budget constraints I decided to do with the original version that I bought soon after its release.
By the way, have you seen the game manual that came as a bonus to Tech Gian magazine? The one I have also dates back to 2006.

I decided to scan all the 100 pages because imo it's worth having a look at.
You don't have problems with Japanese, don't you? I do but I read it partially with the help of dictionary.

Yes, I read it to get the extra disc.

I can also understand Japanese. In fact, I am better at Japanese than English.
I have learned it before some years because I thought Japan was the most entertaining country. To understand Japanese is very worthwhile for me.

By the way, do you live in Japan? I just noticed you got the game yesterday, i.e. on the day of its release.
Also thanks for sharing the picture. I'm thinking whether I like Futami-san enough to spend $40 on the game and 40 more for express delivery.

No, I requested the handymen in Japan to buy and ship KimiKiss instead of me, and I also asked them to send just its data to me through the Internet first. It cost some 80 dollars, including the price of KimiKiss and shipping. I do not think it was too expensive. That is why, I said "I bought yesterday."

So that's how it is.
I personally stick to online shop which send stuff to me directly. Something is available at amazon.jp but if gaming stuff is needed then it's Hong Kong. There are some shops in NYC as well, they basically import japanese stuff which is labeled "For Japan only" and is otherwise unavailable at my place.

You know where in NYC they have them? I could go buy them in person

btw km0120, does the guide you scanned have a walkthrough for all the decisions you need to get each girl's ending? I was just browsing quickly and I couldn't find anything.

Oh... I saw your post in the main thread.

I do not have the guide scanned, but I could help you out if you ask me something.
KimiKiss you are playing now is a Japanese version, isn' it?

Are there any others? If it's not english it wont do me any good and
I'm sure Kimikiss wont be translated into english. However my knowledge of japanese is passable in this case. I have more questions about anime because every time I have to catch the phrases by ear, while here you can take time to check for the kanji etc you dont know (you can say 'use the subs' but the more you understand the more it makes sense to watch the original).

Thank you for the offer. I'll keep that in mind. What I'd really like to see is the photos of what the newly released box is like.
No I actually meant to share the guide.
I liked the part with character introduction because of nice art. Besides the description of peoples' likes and dislikes can be taken into account during conversations.
What is of particular interest imo is interviews with seiyuu.
Also their hints about playing tricks do make sense.
However after playing for some time it becomes quite clear that encounters and the chance for the talk to be successful are pretty much random. For example, one time you can meet the girl of your choice 2-3 times a day while the next day there's no trace of her. The same topics to discuss work differently every time. I think its pretty random but it's natural to talk, say, about food in the cafe and to make confessions in the evening.
Another question is getting "notes" or "hearts". It becomes the case when you're particularly interested in one type and have to chase for them. For my case it was more difficult to go 'nakayoshi' route.

Yes, I have the Japanese version. I can't read Japanese so I'm going mostly by the voices of the girls. But that doesn't help when it comes down to making the decisions. Could you scan any decision trees for the girls? I'm mostly interested in Eriko, Mao, and Sakino.

and nikorai, are you gonna tell me where I can find these stores in NYC?

The plain lists of "マッチング会話"

・the basic rules
Each heroine has 15 set topics in the topic bag in each stage and route. When she meets you, she picks up 5 topics from it at random. You need to guess her topics and show the appropriate one.
If she has your topic in the 5 topics, the conversation is established. When your topic does not match one of her 5 topics and she has the same topic you chose in her topic bag, he tells you "(興味がないわけではないみたいだな…)." In this case, your topic may match next time or later. When your topic does not do and she does not have your topic in her topic bag, he mentions "(興味がないみたいだな…)." In this case, this topic is meaningless, thus, you should not choose the topic till next stage or later.

・the complements
"行動" is not a topic. This means it comes to the set result.
The result sometimes changes depending on the place, the past event, or the tension gage.

・the meanings of the signs
Heart(スキ)
Note(ナカヨシ)
Failure
"Blank" No interest
"?" Secret

Oh, thanks a lot for your guides. I'll try to find time to play once again with this reference. Normally it takes around 3 in-game weeks but no less than 2 weeks anyways. It's that when you plan a date you can't do anything till Sunday.

Thanks for stopping by. Now the thread resembles the one alive somehow.

km0120-san did all the hard work, it should help.
I can only add that when you are prompted to give an answer the third option is almost always something insulting. For example when talking to Futami the first time and you discuss her getting 0 points for a test you can choose between something like 'you did it for fun' and 'you're strange' (I dont remember the exact phrases, sorry).

Why, of course. It's not a big secret.
I shopped at 2 locations
http://www.ncsxshop.com
and
http://www.animecastle.com

Since I'm in Moscow I had to pay quite a lot for shipping in addition. But if you're in NYC they don't mind if you pay them a visit directly. It appears anime stuff shops are mostly concentrated somewhere in queens.
