Well, he was probably making a hidden, joking reference to his Geass - totally oblivious to the Sword of Damocles hanging over his head. Maybe he didn't expect the Geass to evolve so fast and couldn't conceive that something so fortuitous, so ridiculously simple and benign, could actually be the spark that'd set the powder keg ablaze.
Murphy rules, Zero. If there is one thing that can go wrong, then it's likely it will go wrong. But anyway, we've got that one step forward towards utter ruthlessness. Now that his sister's gone bonkers all the way down to hell, there's no reason left for him to be so lenient with a world so close to chaos. The one thing from the other side that could have helped him forge a perfect world for Nunnally became an enemy. Ouch.

rooooh....
I remember reading something from fake oukouchi saying that lelouch will become more rutheless/evil..... WRONG! Lelouch isnt evil here, the producers are (Not that I blame them ). Poor lelouch, that must be quite heavy on his conscience, having to kill a sister he actually likes. Well I just wanted to say I dont think ordering to kill euphemia is evil, giving the actual situation. Its not like he can do something else. Like someone suggested already, her geass order probably wont stop before she gets killed or all the japanese die. And lelouch chose to stop her. |

Well, he does condemn her to die, with this uncontrolled use of Geass on her. The Geass won't stop until all Japanese around her kick the bucket. So, until then, she'll be as safe as a maniac with a flamethrower.
Also, regardless of who pulls the trigger - who should we consider responsible for a convict's death? The judge who sentences him/her to death or the executioner who pushes the button/electric switch? It doesn't matter - both are. Simple as that. Either way, it's Lelouch who drives her to her doom. From here it's impossible for her to go back to normal. Death might be the only thing to thwart the (possibly) stronger Geass.
