The kind of parent that would let the government turn their kid into a walking biological weapon in the first place.

I thot it was all Aleister's fault here... The government simply gave him land to build on, like a certain vampire bund.

Nope. The esper I think in to aru verse is well welcome by the japanese government. Well they only exist in japan to begin with. I haven't heard any other research facilities that train espers to begin with and unlike the mage world where they are all around the world with their own religion to back them up. If the esper has the politicians and government behind their back. The mages mostly have the believers and churches on their sides.

Mikoto cooking without fire or an electric stove... So this is Level 5 huh?
She can use magnetic and electric waves at the same time(She can make auto induction in her body?).....that's what i don't understand...

i was thinking along the lines of microwaving the rice

either that or you run a current through anything that has resistance (rice) and you get heat

Kuroko gyrating her body in that swimsuit was so disturbing that only Mikoto's little mishap with the TV in the end balanced it out.

Well nothing much to say. It was clear it would be a fanservice episode and it was a fanservice episode....They could have at least made it a Christmas fanservice episode or something to fit the season.
Well having a beach episode is a must nowadays especially if all the main characters are female, that is if one wants higher raitings and more money so...

Or you guys could apply what Mikoto did to that fetus in ep 12, only much, much more weaker... otherwise, the container would melt along with the rice burning... xD;;

(also the reason why she can't be distracted, a little mistake could end up overflowing or burnt rice xD)

Induction heating. This is used in some rice cookers. She needs to concentrate since she needs to maintain the same high AC frequency throughout the process, else she'll end up heating it up too much (water boiling), etc.

Yeah, it did feel a little odd. Even more so after Kuroko chose her swimsuit...

That's... a pretty unfair policy. Even on your days off? And the punishment for breaking it is probably having your neck snapped...

Adorable reaction is adorable.

Academy City's scientists spare no expense when it comes to middle school girls.

Lolicon? THIS! IS! SCIENCE!

Isn't holographic technology wonderful?

...What.

...

2009 A Space Oddity.

The holographic technology broke my brain, but the filler had enough cute moments that it wasn't that bad.

Somebody claimed that there would be a second season for railgun - can anyone else confirm?
It seems sort of weird to run another season of railgun...

A second series hasn't been announced, if that's what you're wondering.

The thing is that sites like ANN often indicate an incorrect episode count at the start of a run (they base their information on incomplete broadcasting schedules), so when it turns out that a series spans 24-26 episodes instead of 12-13, people begin claiming that a "second season" has been approved or that the show has been extended beyond its intended length.

No.
The series is lacking material a lot to the point to make fillers like this chapter or calling the author to make episode like the coming ones(14,15 & 16 or 15 & 16).

I though railgun is originally intended to run for 24 episodes. So what's the fuss for it to run longer than 12-13 episode? did they think it will only run for that long ( I'm also one of those that originally think its only up to 12-13 but someone cleared it waaaaaaaay before its intended to run 24 episodes )

The ending to this episode was just amazingly funny.

This show is really maturing into something great.

This was fun episode, this episode made me an even bigger fan of Konori, wow, Mikoto has a weird taste in clothes. The dancing part at the end was hilarious, especially Touma happening by at the time.
