Can anyone name any unlicensed shojo animes they've seen that you'd describe as "addictive like Fruits Basket?" (already know about Full Moon Wo Sagashite)

Though I think nothing can compare to Fruits Basket's greatness, here are other good unlicensed shoujo titles that I know of (that are not maho shoujo):

Harukanaru Toki no Naka de
Angelique
Aishiteruze Baby
Basara
Peach Girl (anime version comes out in January)

Maria sama ga miteru : more shoujo-ai though, although I still recommend it strongly

Kannaduki no Miko would kind of be the latest of this category along with Mai Hime.

Akazukin Chacha!!! Akazukin Chacha and Hime-chan no Ribbon. Probably too old to ever get licensed. I don't think Fruits Basket was particularly addictive, but Akazukin and Hime-chan are more along the lines of FB in that the romance (or lack thereof) is not the focus of the show.

Neither of those are shoujo.

@Kenshin: Try Gakuen Alice. It's very cute and very shoujo-y; some have said that it reminds them of Kodocha.
