Comparing it with Sengoku Collection is weird, the mood and theme of the shows are totally different... the only thing in common is the adaption of Sengoku Jidai characters.
Anyway, beyond the amazing character designs, there is drama, and good characterization... maybe a little exaggerated at times, but I am willing to forgive that for the good overall effort put into this anime. |

Looks like Sagara raised some Love Flags with Nobuna at the end of episode 2 there.
Wonder if we ever get a flashback so to why or how he timeleaped to the Sengoku era. I imagine at the end, he wake up and it was all a dream, and it turns all the girls in his high school and stuff are the same character designs as all the sengoku gender-swapped girls he met lol. Some parts of the episode are nice, but I can't help but feel the script and things that happen are super formulaic, and there's a layer of fakeness to everything.

I'm glad this main character is more responsible than he is a pervert or a jokester.
Don't get me wrong, i'm all for perverted characters, but I have "Hagure Yuusha no Esthetica" and "Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai" for that. It's a nice change of pace and i'm liking the story and characters in this anime. |

The number one thing that sets the MC up for me is that he didn't whine about finding himself in the past, well other than be confused about how he ended up there. Especially the part this episode where Nobuna gives him "an impossible task" and he just accepts it with no complaints. Also the whole refusing to beg for his life and accept her executing him calmly.

Also that name Nobukatsu took at the end, Tsuda Nobusumi is the name of one of Nobuyuki's sons, making Nobunaga his uncle. So he "died" and took up the role of his son in history in the episode.

Sengoku (Past) 02 - The Rich Man That Wasn't Scrooge McDuck
Yoshiharu is maintaining that perfect match between confidence and dorkiness. He's still, at heart, a game geek, and that makes him human. And while he may not have introduced recre-ation, he's still changing the future in ways that Yoshino Hide took forever to realize she could do. (Seriously, the money scene was great. Only very few men and ducks have skills like that.) The banter about breasts was also pretty entertaining. Of the three Sengoku-flavored shows on the air, this one feels the most in the spirit of the era, but each of them have their own charm. And still not enough Mitsuhide for me to make a judgement on her character compared to her other incarnations. |

Quite an unexpected pleasure of a series. I came in, thinking, "great, another gender bending series featuring Nobunaga." What I came away with was a very satisfied feeling of relief from an actually interesting story. The fanservice is tasteful, and it does not try to stuff it in your face like the other gender bending historical series. I definitely like what I see so far.
It was really funny in episode 2 how our MC lost focus and went all out to make money. I have no idea how he moved his goods around so quickly in a week to make so much money, but hey, it was a very fun scene to behold. I'm glad there is good integration of scenes and action between Nobuna and Yoshi, which makes for more compelling story telling. I'm glad they don't have those accidental helping out, and Yoshi actually is proactive. This series is a keeper.

he knows the history of Sengoku era......
in other words, if he tell her what happend next then this going to be a boring series. I would like him to keep his mouth shut and let history take its course......
