It’s the adventure of Casval & Artesia! Exploring the space colonies and chased by the evil Zabi family. Can they survive their ordeal? *cue music from Little Rascals or The Goonies or Home Alone*
Seriously though. What is loli-Artesia’s wearing? Is that a witch outfit I’m seeing? Is it Halloween over there?

Why should i Run?
As long as our "great" Tomino is not writing or directing we will be safe! On the other side, lots of exclusive repaints annouced for bandai hobby shop, looks like they are going full UC this year, which is a shame... Might get the casval RG RX-78 |

Eh, in terms of animated script-work and screenplay, that Sumisawa guy didn’t really scare me. Though I think none of his written script is a great masterpiece, many of them are still well-written and entertaining. Based on ANN, some that have original script and he’s involve in the writing or screenplay are: Inuyasha movies, Gundam Wing TV, Endless Waltz, Naruto: Ninja Clash in Land of Snow, Let’s & Go, and some Zoids series. Some of his involvement in adaptation works includes: Inuyasha: Final Act, Rave Master, Yakitate!! Japan, Tokyo Underground, Yu Yu Hakusho, and more. I think those works are decent to really-good. Of course he stumbles sometimes (eg, 6 episodes of Brain Powered, Blue Dragon, Frozen Teardrop, etc). But doesn’t mean his works will be that bad every time (his track record already proven it if ANN is to be believed). At least he’s not Akihiro Hino who seem to not know how to write/handle Gundam franchise.
Talk about mecha anime genre, I'll be a lot more worried if the scenario/script/screenplay of this Origin falls into the hands of someone like Shoji Kawamori . All in all, I'll reserve judgment until I experienced the final product.

I don't want CG Mecha to take over Gundam, but... that scene with Char's Zaku looked awesome, I can admit that much .
That was a very nice trailer, and I'm looking forward to seeing the voice cast for this and who ends up playing a young Casval. Shuichi Ikeda is, of course, likely to play Char when we get to that period of his life .

That trailer was exciting like hell!!! The characters look properly oldschool but with modern animation. The CG mecha battles are fast and relentless. Looks like Majestic Prince finally has a challenger.
On another note, is that Dozzle Zabi's car that got blown up, with him still inside? Is that how he got that many scar on his body in the original MSG? Wow, he must be one tough dude to be able to survive that.
