Overweight people are the ones that gooble carbonated drinks (and have little patience for buying little bottles), they are really addicted to this stuff, so don't ask, I ain't overweight.

I usually go through about 1-4 liters of water a day, but if you just mean in one sitting then... whenever I eat something hot/spicey? So once every 1-3 days or so?

Megaupload Wins Crucial Evidence Disclosure Battle With US Govt.

Quote:
A New Zealand court has ruled that the U.S. Government must hand over the evidence they have against Megaupload so Kim Dotcom and other employees can properly defend themselves against the pending extradition request. The U.S. refused to comply but Judge Harvey concluded that this would be unfair. He further noted that the entire U.S. case stands or falls on the strength of the alleged copyright infringement charges.
MegaUploads lawyers also filed for dismissal as well. If that did happen (which would be hilarious slap in the face for the US Govt) I think the ensuing sue-fest from MU against the US and whoever (pls the RIAA) for damages from destroying their company would be hilarious.

Last chance to see Venus transit the sun until another 105 years.

I applaud the judge's understanding of the situation and I look forward to a multi-national smack down of the misuse of US assets as corporate thugs for the RIAA/et al. Look, I completely support valid and reasonable concepts of copyright, etc ... but that IS'NT what this cartel of artist-raping thieves and customer-mugging maroons we call the RIAA/MPAA are engaged in.

RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) -- One of the world's largest open-air landfills, a vast, seaside mountain of trash where thousands of people have made a living sorting through the debris by hand, will close this weekend after 34 years in malodorous service.

The UK’s Most Offensive Ad Ever Features People Singing With Their Mouths Full

Wait, so TV ads about abortion, religion, or horrifically violent child abuse are less worse than this?

Flying helicopter cat is the stuff of nightmares

"Most people would feel incredibly sad if their cat was run over and killed, and
eventually they might consider adopting another kitty. Dutch artist Bart Jansen
mourned his departed feline, Orville, a different way: by stuffing the cat and
turning him into a radio-controlled helicopter."

It is missing two things : a machine gun that shoot poptarts and a horizontal thrust system powered by seven-coloured propellants.

I think everyone finds it macabre... but then that is what makes it hilarious. Its like an Addams Family cartoon moment --- "oh look, that's an interesting way to raise a cat from the dead"

If they made in into a movie the tagline would be something like:

They thought they killed it
But we rebuilt it
