I add:

Lia, Shimamiya Eiko, Ayana, Y.AKI, Mihi, R.I.E, MIKI, MAKO, Kawada Mami and Utatsuki KAORI. You can try savage genius and Tainaka Sachi, too. It's probably the sound you're looking for. Just look for "I've". MELL is also an I've Artist.
Anyway... it doesn't have to be "I've". There are many other artists/bands around with a comparable style, like (above mentioned) savage genius. They have nothing to do with "I've" (afaik) but are still similar.

I am guessing that MELL's red faction is actually quite out of sync of their original style. Most the bands you named above are light and inspiring type songs, while MELL's "Red Faction" seems kind of dark and heavy. Are there any bands out there that compare to this more gritty feel that this song left?
