1) Her salute form is incorrect - no crooked wrists allowed! 2) Left-hand salute - you salute with your right hand! 3) Civilian status - only active duty soldiers/airmen/marines/sailors in uniform allowed! 3 strikes...you're out! SUCH BLASPHEMY! THE GALLOWS PLEASE!!! |

The Quran vs. VF-27 duel:
Well, Quran is too direct. She relies on reflexes too much, while Alto here seems to think out of the box, very quickly out of the box, at that. Hey, he did take out Mr. Kira Yamato's legs. Kudos to Alto there. - Tak |

What a pleasure to hear so much from Toyoguchi Megumi (Kuran Klan). Isn't she great? Kamiya Hiroshi (Mikhail, Zetsubou Sensei) does the job, too.
But this week very little of either Ranka or Sheryl. Except that rather dramatic exercise session.

I've seen it happen before, and it looked so weird and WRONG. But since it was for an awards ceremony, most of the soldiers just took it in stride when the saluting civilian presented the awards/medals to them in person.
I've seen so many Japanese idols/models/cosplayers do their "salutes" in an effort, in my opinion, to look cute. And sigh...I've grown to accept it, but strongly disapprove. @Mgz: I express my views using my knowledge of the U.S. military, so yeah, if you say they do that in commie-country, then I'll take your word for it! Spoiler for Back to Ep9:
