Lucky Star... has its perks. And I was just using that as an example to define what a loli is. Though, thinking about KyoAni's other famous series (Haruhi), I guess that a loli also is under the classification of being cute (sometimes known as moe)

so, short+flat chested+cute= Nadeko=loli

Unsure whether Nadeko is a loli or not, but she is definately a moeblob.

On the other hand, I would definately call Shinobu a loli despite her being probably hundreds or thousands of years old.

But being a ghost she is technically like 10 years older than she looks...

Age has no meaning to whether a girl is a loli of not... Mayoi and Shinobu (at least in current form) are both lolis, despite actual age

As I said before...

So you're both right.

Just in case anyone's interested, some replies here were translated into Japanese by this blogger.

I checked to see if you meant FROM Japanese, but no, they took some of the comments from here and translated them TO Japanese. Wish I'd said something more memorable so I could have been included

He translated two of my posts, although I'm not sure why. First my first post on the first page where I said that episode 12 was part of the main story, and then my post where I asked if I was the only one getting the error message when the stream first started. He kind of gave me an interesting tone of voice... I really can't imagine myself saying "Iya iya iya". Also he highlighted "got a Japanese error message" in red for some reason. Now I'm curious about what the rest of his blog was about, but I'm not good enough at Japanese to get through that without taking forever.

Kind of a "here's what foreigners think of this" thing. I noticed that he paid special attention to the locations listed for people, pointing out who was from England or Austrialia or Russia or California or whatever. I think he thought it was funny how we excited we were about it.

Yep, it's sort of pointing out how the gaijin responses are like.
This is comparable with one of sirn's blog in a contrary manner.

It would figure that I'd be quoted talking about Hanekawa's breasts... Damn the posters who brought it up and lured me in! I remember the site doing the same for Macross Frontier. It's always nice check out how people decide to translate English into Japanese though.

You say that like it's a bad thing. I mean, what if you had a cat ear fetish and THAT is how you were portrayed the one time someone quoted you

I think you mean 15 cause I too can't wait for it, since Yui Horie did some pretty good songs with toradora, I am hoping it will be great, if not the best of the 5 though I've really liked all 4, so far.

Considering it seems it's taking all their resources just to get the episode done, I wouldn't count on it until the last episode, much like the other arcs...
