It's a sci-fi RPG where you play as a Human fommander tryong to stop Galaxy wife extinction.

The process repeats every 100,000 years and you're trying to stop this cycle from happening. Your enemies are the "Reapers", a race of THOUSANDS of incredibly strong starships which kill every species every 100,000 years. They're basically like Box's version of the IS. They take and "use" organics to turn then into fuel for themselves or turn them into zombified husks. Each Reaper is strong enough to shrug off an orbital strike just to give an example.

Just youtube Mass effect 2 ending. You'll see that Eldritch Abominations can be both cool but at the same time get their ass kicked.

Side note - When I said fuel I meant it literally. They melt humans and turn them as substance to power them. Those who don't, get "indoctrinated" and have their beliefs warped to make them serve the Reapers. It also an "And I must scream" since they're fully aware of what's happening but can only see it unfold. It's described as being trapped in a glass box while you see your body doing things you can't control.

They're AT LEAST 37 million years old. So yes, they're older than and most likely killed all prior civilizations.

Do you know the setting of Mass effect? i.e. the timeline? Even with Reavers being oldest civilization around, I believe Mass Effect is set in the future.

I knew it's off topic, I want to incorporate it in my fic.

The reapers are GIANT sentient ships, they're not a civilization. To make more of them they "Harvest" a species and turn them into liquid to make more of them.

The timeline is set in the 2200's I think. The technology from IS academy is eerily similar to the one's from Mass Effect though. It looks like they were based off the same thing really.

How do you want to incorporate them though? The IS are strong but they're not strong enough to take out something like them without help. It took an entire fleet of starships to take out one and it WAS'NT EVEN PAYING ATTENTION!

I'm not doing that, I just need some inspiration for the final battle (as if it was close).

I need something that is inhuman, with no sense of morality, something incomperhensible that even I.S. having a hard time to take on.

@ Zero - Perfect then, that describes them correctly. Their tagline is :"We are your salvation through destruction" so you can tell they're eldritch abominations.

They see any resistance as equivalent to an ant fighting for it's life.
