A few more weeks and the new season are going to start.

Well, here is a bit info and the new list of casts for the 3rd season:

Shimizu Taiga (CV: Paku Romi)
- Position: shortstop/pitcher
- Kaoru' lil brother

Tashiro (CV: Mori Norihisa)
- Position: catcher

Fuji (CV: Kusao Takeshi)
- Postion: 2nd Base

Uchiyama (CV: Hoshi Souchiro)
- Position: 3rd Base

Miyagiki (CV: Hatano Wataru)
- Position: 1st Base

Nakamura Miho (CV: Ueda Kana)
- Position: Manager

Yamada Ichirou/Steve Timothy (CV: Horiuchi Kenyuu)
- Position: Supervisor/Coach
- Like to call Goro as Nogoro-kun

Seems like Road of Major will be doing the opening song again.

Yay! Paku Romi!

Looks like a Major S2 catchup is in order XD

I expect that in this new season, most of the season 1 regulars will be phased out completely...=(

First off, it's not called "subbing rights", and secondly, MJN has announced plan to subtitle season 3 (big shock, huh?).

The subs usually appear late. So waiting for the raws is the best we can do.

And, for the raws, the group that normally puts the raws on the web haven't been very active lately, so if that would continue, the raws will appear much later compared to the last season (unless the time slots are different).

Is the little guy flashing the "V" sign not Komori? Sure looks like him. He was the best character of S2 - I was sorry to see him disappear without a trace...

Yes, it is Komori, though I wonder why they used his picture there, he should be a minor character in the 3rd season. A better question would be why they haven't put any image-related information on the newly appearing major characters. Maybe they will update it later.

The raw is out for the first episode. It was a nice and quick paced episode. The opening theme is not exactly what you expect from Road of Major to be used in Major, but still an acceptable theme. Now, waiting for the subs...

Unless, of course, they divert from the manga. I'd certainly like to see Shimizu and Komori return to a prominent role.

As far as I can tell, the first episode followed the manga, so I highly doubt they will divert from the manga. Shimizu will continue to stay as an important character because of being in the same school as Goro and with the help of her brother. But, Komori will study in another school, so his role will be highly reduced.
