This was rather a moving episode...especially the scene with Ciel having his ring broken by Elizabeth. I think I cringed when she threw it to the ground knowing how priceless it is for Ciel...ouch.

But asides from that I really liked this episode for adding (slowly but surely) more character depth to Ciel...being the moody gloomy type, this episode was fully welcomed.

It also introduced two lovable characters. Elizabeth is quite the spoilt brat but I do see a cute side to her (and for some reason, her crying made me feel sad rather than annoyed). Then there is setzubou Finian who always tries to hang or kill himself

But it was hilarious when noone tried to stop him in the end

Sebastian seems rather evil looking at the end of the episode...I wonder why, could this be part of the contract?

His name is Grell and the more amusing fact is that he's voiced by Lelouch

What I like about Ciel in that scene is how despite his own pain about losing that ring, he still man-up in front of Elizabeth just to make her happy.

By the way, I sure people would have already noticed; Elizabeth is being voiced by Tamura Yukari

Anyway, the story seems to be breaking the speed limit here, they're already going into the "Jack the Ripper" arc.

Wow,they are already moving to that chapter. Given the episodic nature of the first few chapters, i actually don't mind that they jumped straight to that arc. If i am not wrong, i think that arc starts at chapter 6.

Code Geass just finished, and now I watch this, and I also watch Rental Magica to fill in the wait time, and all three of these have abnormality with a person's eye.... and all 3 of these have Jun Fukuyama in 'em....wow....

But this whole manga captured me by the first sentence!! so much humor, but also that delightful dark atmospere!!
