I've nothing to do right now so here it goes.
Considering that Suzaku will become Yuphie's knight and based on all the turmoil it can cause among the people (the army too but they'll just have to obey orders) do you think they will make Suzaku to wear a mask in order to hide the fact that he is japanese (eleven) ? |

If the original statement had been made in kanji, then the answer should be obvious. We're talking about Japanese characters here (as I don't see why he'd suddenly revert to Roman alphabet each time a name is mentioned). So we've got to consider people whose names have three syllables or can be written in three letters/sounds.

No.
"文字数は適当です" means, the number of xxx doesn't necessary match. He's saying that three letters is NOT a hint. 適当、in this context, doesn't mean suitable, etc. It's used to mean like random or thrown together randomly, or arbitrary. Yes, I know your Japanese-English dictionary probably only list "suitable" etc, as its definition, but it's one of those words that dictionary traditionally has been lacking in stating the actual common "use" of the word, and insist on only listing one way of its use. You can ask 100 other Japanese and you'll get the same answer as me. 適当, in general, is used to mean arbitrary or randomly. Oh, extra info. Code Geass on 2/16 is likely to be another summary episode. The TV guides aren't assigning episode number to it.... so likely, it'll be episode 17.5 (since the following episode is 18, and previous is 17) Hopefully this isn't the case, but unfortunately, very likely.

There's obviously going to be some who'll voice their concerns but that's about it. Cornelia's soldiers haven't treated Suzaku any different. Quote:

and if it is the end of mao's arc then it will serve as a well timed breather to get our thoughts together ^__^ (expect something shocking to conclude the arc...i already have a mental picture of what can happen but it may just be a bit too crazy ))
