That's the same jewel, Sei has been holding it in his GP Base since they started Gunpla battles. It's just a matter of Sei finding a convenient spot on the device to place that gem, compared to Reiji's bracelet or Chaiman's pocket watch. But now it's on a necklace with Aila. Notice in the last scene where they're drinking in front of the vending machines, that the jewel is now absent from the device.

Sadly I think we'll have to say goodbye to the Qubeley since it belongs to Nemesis/the Institute not Aila personally. If she gets involved in anything before the series is over it'd have to be something borrowed (not that she can't fight great in whatever she's given).

Long term would either need to rely on Sei or get invested enough to build herself. Suppose could be a fun Aila and China pair, though China is probably still more interested in more traditional art.

Really when you think about it the regionals around Sei's place will be more intense than parts of the world tournament. If Yuuki goes back to competing on his own, Sei and Reiji keep competing and Aila joins the fray.

It seems like a tournament that only focuses on the winner. Doesn't seem to be any concern though would be pretty fun to see Aila getting in another match against that guy who's going to lose to Yuuki. If only because it'd mean more battles not involving the Star Build Strike

Do remember paint weapon exist by default, you probably just need to switch the ammo load on the GP base or something.

Pretty fantastic episode, enjoyed it start to finish.

It got a bit touching and then, as always, hit the humor button. I liked how they touched up on Arian a bit more. I wonder what Arista is...I'm guess it's some type of magical stone. And Reji's bracelet, Chairman's pocketwatch, and Aila's necklace all use pieces of it.

It took guts to take one of the most anticipated battles...

And turn it into a feels episode.

And y'know what? For me, it worked.

Still, great episode, liked it, and all my feels. Though not as many feels as FENICE FEELS. Fenice feels are BEST FEELS.

The shipping is no longer a nuke, it's a freaking shipping colony drop. And yes, the Japan qualifiers for the next GBWC are going to be intense. US is going to be a Greco/Nils grudge rematch, Fellini's going to ace Italy... would be quite interesting to see. But no matter how cute China is, her normal outfit doesn't do it for me. The school uniform, on the other hand...

You know the absorb shield is useless in that even when Aila was shooting the SBS with a beam weapon, Reji chose to dodge vs absorbing it.

We still need to see Aqua discharge mode too.....

Ya, I like China better in her uniform

Her current outfit are kind of childish which while fit her age wise, it looks alluring instead.

(No joke, she's basically as tall as average Japanese woman today)

They probably need a solid beam the absorb steadily

Aila was firing beam vulcans at them, so thats probably the reason

Too bad Aila didnt use her beam sabers for a while

You know what I think lately?

Star Build Strike has been only relying on its RG system while its Universe Booster and Absorb Shield has been completely useless ever since it entered Top16, and his upcoming battle against Exia would make it useless also considering Meijin's skills and Exia's weapons.

If maybe his other friends help Sei out and such, maybe Build Strike can go through another upgrade.

I mean Meijin going to be getting Exia for his Top 4 and the Finals, where he switched Gunpla.

Sei should do the same considering only thing his Star Build Strike uses lately is RG Knuckle crap with his beam rifle, vulcan and shield that only acts as a physical shield lately instead of absorbing particle beams.

His entire Absorb System has become completely useless due to the fact his opponents all know about its secret now.

Maybe like the tournament will give the Finalists like 1-2 days to prepare for the finals, where Sei will receive help from his friends and build the Build Strike's next upgrade.

Because if another RG Knuckle ending comes, it would mean this series truly made a bad decision.

Build Strike's battles since Episode 1 up to 15 were way better compared to how it has been doing since it entered Top 16.

I think the absorb system is like the METEOR's on SEED. Great system for big fights, useless against aces.
