Suisei no Gargantia is licensed by Viz Media

Viz Media announced that it has licensed Gargantia for home video. It'll be offered on DVD & Blu-ray, Japanese & English vocal tracks, with the OVAs in 2014. The English dub will be streamed on Neon Alley as well. [Source]

That sounds nice. Wonder who they'll get to do the English voices.

PS. I think it's too bad they won't air this on mainstream TV, otherwise they could get celebrity voices to voice the more minor characters in the show.
(ie. Striker, Kugel, the cult leaders.)

This is my take on the English dub for Gargantia in the Behind the Voice Actor website:

If anyone is curious:

-It's most likely be done by Bang Zoom! due to the similarities with Lagrange.
-May be a non-union dub
-May mix newer names with high profile veteran voice actors
-I threw David Matranga in there because he did some Los Angeles work in the past despite mostly working in Texas.
