Hmm, I thought it was just Kannagi, turns out there's more to it. Thanks for the info. Still, at least for this series, I don't think there will be any 'betrayals'. Of course, it's the other way around for someone like Naruko-sensei but the rest came from co-ed school, so it's unlikely (hell, one literally has a chastity belt with the key in the hand of a maid who definitely won't let any guys touch her master before she did). They seem like more of a NATO (no action talk only) kind of girls, like if they actually has done it they won't be that...obsessive...about it.

Ithink she already noticed a bit, she saw them 'sleeping together' in the beach episode and I think she wondered about the possibility of a 'flag event' (although that may be Kotomi, I forget). Of course, like any good photographer, she won't rush the moment. SHe will be patiently waiting (she already got the bottle, anyway

) until the perfect moment comes, and then! Kodak moment!

Shino = Haruhi (More selfless then Haruhi)
Aria = Mikuru (More motherly then Mikuru)
Suzu = Yuki (Just shorter then Yuki)

Just a estimate

Also it does seem that way with the way Tsuda acts around the girls.

Yeah, something like that. Of course there's a lot of differences, but the following paragraph explaining the characters and their relationships with each other can be applied to both series.

The energetic, rather shameless leader is having a bit of a crush to the guy, who is the most normal of the bunch. He's the one holding the leash of the leader, often replying in a deadpan manner toward the leader outrageous ramblings. He's mostly oblivious, but at times admires the dynamite body of the rather airheaded redhead. There's also the shortest and smartest girl who may harbor a crush to the guy as well. Another thing that is also in parallel is the girl's bust sizes too...

Anyway, can't wait for the episode tomorrow, hopefully it will carry the momentum from the last episode.

I suppose one can say that all forms of drama or comedy have key elements that are more likely to produce good audience response. Often the material creator may have no idea he or she was influenced by those pervasive elements. Joseph Campbell wrote way too much on the topic of story telling

Vol 1 Bluray seems to have some legs, pushed another 370 copies last week to bring Vol 1's current total to 6,199. Anime also helped push the manga sales up by a big margin (near 50k increase on opening weeks). I wouldn't say it's going to get a surefire sequel like Working but it's selling better than most of the stuff receiving sequels.

It should've turned a profit to considering Omamori Himari did and that avg 3,156 copies per volume. Much better seller than Princess Lover as well which is the other GoHands production.

I'm confident in a second series coming out if this isn't a two cour show split over 2 seasons thing.

Not so sure about the manga but the anime is definitely gunning for the Shino/Tsuda pair. Are these scenes in the manga as well?

Its... different a bit. The emphasis is different. The manga is more subtle, leisurely, and some key moments are after what the anime season will cover.

On seeing the BD, I have one big problem. While they removed a few censors (like the vibes), they should have removed the audio censors. The sound effects don't improve the dialog, especially in some places where it's hard to tell what they are saying (like when they discuss games to have in the sports festival). I imagine this's been said before, but it was a little excessive in the TV, so having it undiminished is a real pain.

EDIT: Now I've watched the ep. Kotomi is absolutely awesome, as always. Definitely going to want to keep that teacher away from her though (don't want her teaching Kotomi anything), and keep Kotomi away from any of the male teachers (so she doesn't try any intensive studies, like she's suggested). Also, until this episode, I'd never really thought of the number nineteen as erotic... And finally, the teacher must die for her discussion about her love life. She just had to go and bring those three letters into this show, didn't she? I can't turn around without being hit with NTR.
Anyway, this is the first time Shino's done anything cute without killing it with something nasty, and I never would have thought she'd be so shy as to give homemade chocolates while pretending that she was sharing those given to her. I still think that Suzu's the best though.

One question, why didn't Mitsuba give any chocolates??

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Spoiler for SYD 12 - "Cake on the Monitor": The running thread this week was Kotomi taking her entrance exam to get into Ousai (and succeeding), but there were plenty of other moments sprinkled throughout, such as Aria's chocolates, Suzu finally being called "senpai" by Kotomi and pretty much every member of the cast getting in a good gag. Kotomi's test answer was..interesting, but not unexpected. Wasn't expecting there to be an episode 13, but we've one more week to go.

For people reading the manga, they might have noticed a certain character that appeared during the part where Kotomi was getting interviewed, when they showed some girls sitting outside and waiting. Lots of Kotomi being very perverted! Can't go wrong with that! 10 times... Hmmm... Can't beat that. For me, at the mos-... (Well, as far as human nature goes, she is more decent than Kanami, at least?) Suzu's reaction when Takatoshi lifted her up the wrong way was absolutely great (mainly, the tone of her voice). Hata's voice was kind of odd... Wonder if it has something to do with her voice actor resting next season and leaving her Peke role in ToLoveRu... Takatoshi's friend... Well, it is true he didn't really have a personality in the manga either, so it doesn't really matter if he ends up like he was in this episode in the anime, but the staff might as well make him into Kazuya... Not possible, I guess? Speaking of which, what this manga really lacks is another male character for a sub-character, like Kazuya. Spoiler for episode 12: jumped back through new years, valentines, and high school entrance exam period. everyone in the cast got some screentime and did their thing, which was fun. favorite scenes was when Shino had Tsuda try the chocolate she made. Tsuda picking up Hagu. What would be the regular way to hold a girl up? and also when the teacher was sick. In particular, liked Aria's "Get to a hospital right now" reaction even Tsuda's mom got in with a breast milk joke . __________________ ...

She's going to grow up to be just like her, especially since Yokoshima intends to take her under her wing. Her answers to the exams were just hilarious. I want a second season... The others jokes were very good too. As always, I have a soft spot for Suzu, her scenes with Yokoshima and Tsuda were great. She should have known it was dangerous to ask to be treated like an adult in front of Yokoshima. PS: I loved the way Tsuda delivered his "Sona bakana" tsukkomi. __________________

Saturn Beaver Home of Silent Prayer Join Date: Mar 2010	Spoiler for Episode 12: Hmm, this episode is not as great as the continuous laughing riot like last episode, but it's still good...Highlight of the episode naturally goes to Kotomi and Yokoshima-sensei, of course, they're both very delightful in their perverseness, funny how even as a pervert you can come in a different flavor. And as such, their inevitable meeting was really great - looks like the Master has found her apprentice, I shudder to think of the fate of Osai Gakuen (and society in general) in the future...Still, how the hell can Kotomi pass through? Is Yokoshima-sensei pulling some strings, or are the exam questions really that weird? The end when Tsuda realizes the impending doom is great as well (Yeah! Btw, is it just me who thinks Yokoshima-sensei look rather hot in that sailor suit?) The end part with a lot of Suzu jokes is really funny too, amazing how a simple 'Suzu looks like a kid and she hates that' can have a lot of funny variations. This episode romantic part is also way lower than last episode though, with only one scene on Valentine's. I still don't know how Shino can on one hand say that the boy he likes wishes to lose his virginity and say that she also hopes for a good BLEEP, while at another can't work up the courage to give Tsuda chocolate for Valentine's. Seeing the preview, I'm glad to see there's still going to be one last episode, but the way Shino says "next one is our last episode" makes me scared...she means last episode for the season, right? Hopefully so, this is another show with Seitokai in its name that I really want to see the second season...
