Didn't actually mention railgun, but he did point out that in contrast to the railgun anime original stuff, this was the first Index anime original stuff and this is what it means to have Index anime original stuff. So yeah the implication existed
Anyway, Endymion is pretty amazing Index filler if you think about it! Makes me excited if they have future Index filler (like a second movie). |

And I believe Kamachi even mentioned, he had already lots of ideas with the space elevator he wanted to use. Plus this is movie, it can't be compared to anime. The number of people, the amount of time, quality.. are on a different level. |

Just pointing out, that comparison between anime original arc that was not yet confirmed to be written by Kamachi (except the names) with a 6 LNs worth of material is a bit unfair.

I mean it was quickly forgotten afterwards and never mentioned again. It would be stupid for them to group together a big failure with a big success Last edited by zaeraal; 2013-09-25 at 05:42. |

You can have a small number of sales yet make a profit from it. Assembly was essentially a VN, certainly doesn't require much production value.

Nakayama also noted that, at the time, they had already presented an original story in the Railgun anime. Consequently, there was a desire to create one for Index. As for 2 cours of material, some people are taking this too literally. Quote:

Its completely baffling when compared to the big success of the movie. Was it poor advertisement? Negative campaigning? The movie taking all of the spotlight and actually hindering sales? Or was the Road to Endymion LN which covered part of Ensemble the one that gave the killing blow? From the spoilers that were posted in the Ensemble thread and the glimpse from the Road to Endymion LN, it seemed just like any novel that Kamachi would write except in VN form. It's so confusing

$80!? How the hell does that work out!? Are most PSP VNs the same price? And does a VN qualify as a game?
Either way, that answers my question.... Now it almost seems ridiculously obvious...

EDIT: Sorry, $80 in my country's currency. US$60, for the regular version. US$100 for the limited edition.
