At the end of the day, you must realize that so is the 'canon'...all of Bleach is pretend. It's fiction. Fan fiction can be given just as much credit on a personal level to me, depending on how good it is. The only thing that remains a solid is that the original author made the original story, and that credit is to be uniquely respected despite how it may eventually turn out quality wise.

I don't "like fillers", brah. And they're as much pretend as anything Bleach. It's all fiction, after all.

Fanfiction is just that; fanfiction. No one officially involved in the franchise wrote it. But I guess if you wanna give it credit on your own personal time, that's fine. More power to ya.

Once again, Ichigo's aging/hair are going to have nothing to do with his current appearance. At that time, he was in Shinigami form, with his meat body back home and subject to whatever trials Kon felt free to subject it to. Now he's back stuck in that body, albeit 17 months later, with no reason to look anything but ~2 years older. His spiritual body may very well still sport the hippie hair, but not his current state.

^ Seconded! Ichigo was amazing, prectically quitting by being fired, he'll get a reimbursement for being fired too :P Fun Orihime is back as well, her sad self is finally a thing of the past...and Ishida is just as cool as he's always been, except now he's actually getting panel time!

Ishida was ok for me until i knew that he and Sasuke got the same voice actor... and something went wrong for me

i much preferred this to the aizen ichigo powerup battle. this isn't ichigo being a more awesome soul reaper than anybody besides yamamoto. this is ichigo: generally sucking at trying to be normal.
