they based on Matsushima class cruiser which basically a ship with large cannon on the front

Wonder if they will scrap Takao ship into SGCS

Bummer that the ship was lost, but I'm glad Takao made it out alive. However I think it's interesting that she doesn't want to stop using her Mental Model, even at the risk of being destroyed, like she found something that's important to her and doesn't want to let go of. I wonder how strongly the other ships feel about their respective Mental Models?

I think we can assume that all major ships see their mental model as an uppgrade and a definite part of themselves now.

Wasn't Takao not wanting to lose the mental model because it would mean losing the emblem of the fleet on her clothes? You know the proof that she was part of the group.

I had that impression as well. Mental models are very easily recreated as long as there is enough nanomaterial.

Maybe except Kongou, she seems to be quite sceptical about current fleet fog policy and stuff. I realy wonder how she will react to what seems to be Yamatos response to Gunzous peace proposal.

Ideally Gunzou will save her right away but I dont see he need to as long he know she still alive. and saving her may cause him to give new torpedo for exchange

I am predicting that he go to America. get the missile mass produce. then rescue Takao.

But I can see fog use brainwash on Takao to fight Gunzou if she wait too long
