Honestly I don't know about you guys but these spoilers have quite literally blown me away!! This is as big of a curveball as NT Volume 7.
Misaka fans will go wild and vote her #1 on the Kono LN ga Suki! polls again.
The Railgun manga really does a great job of sustaining interest in the franchise between the novels.

You just made my night Finally. I said Kamachi would touch this topic eventually. I knew it I'm still sure it won't happen though, but this means it might be possible in the future if Gensei thinks it is possible to do so So I guess... Railgun season 3 might be as good as season 2 or better?

Didn't see that coming at all. Misaka looks like she has lost it and I think she'll go on a rampage kinda like what Accelerator did when he Awakened with black wings.

Did anyone else noticed that Mikoto's awakening is a DEMON one (she even has HORNS)
While Kakine, Accel, Hyoka, Aiwass = ANGEL ones? Even the AIM Burst looked like an "angel".

I wonder what will be Touma's involvement if he did not considered this day as anything special in Index.

And also for the first time they mentioned Aleister (in Railgun) as the guy behind the Main plan.
Maybe they will involve him further in future arcs.

Yes, if you read the spoilers, you would noticed that:
Gensei stolen Exterior, removed the multi-level protection on the Misaka Network, and poured the network's power into Mikoto to make her Level 6.
What happened to Mikoto is that DEMON Awakening shown in the first spoiler:

The Angels in the Old Testament (bible) were described to be monstrous as well- You wouldn't associate "Chains of Black Fire" and "Covered with Eyes" as anything angelic.

That being said, I wonder if it's like Worst, where they pour a specific portion of the network into a brain.

Someone on 4chan even mentioned that the "iron sand ribbon" around her is similar to that of a Tennyo
(spiritual being found in Japanese Buddhism that are similar to western angels, nymphs or fairies.)


And yeah, Esper powers were based on Magic, so they are really close.
Even the Level 6 = God.

He just wanted to make her Level 6 and that Demon is what she turned into.
