I think that Miyata and Ippo fight is never gonna happen. If i remember right Miyata is soon too heavy at same weightclass than Ippo and dropping weight comes way too hard. Like Takamura has... I think that was at some chapter and Ippo realised that too that they will never fight at same ring. I might be wrong and hopefully im wrong.

Remember Ippo is beating up Asian champs, so he's probably from some South Pacific island or something. The stereotyping is enough to make you gag. I feel insulted just looking at him.
Pfft, it's not like he's real opposition for Ippo anyway. I can see how the battle will go from miles away and I haven't even read these raws yet.

seems like it'll be a pretty boring fight. No interest in this guy whatsoever. When was the last time Ippo had an epic fight? Hopefully they don't focus on this guy too much and get back to Takamura. Ippo needs an epic fight to get him back in the spotlight, not random nobodies.

I feel this guy has Ippo's moves naturally. Dempys swaying, rock dodging, leaf/banana getting, but this guy is more agile and has it naturally going for him, unlike Ippo who trained to have those flexible boxing moves.
Possible this guy has a weak chin or body.

I doubt the fight will go that easily, the guy is supposed to be a true prodigy, more talented then anyone Ippo has boxed with so far. He is Indonesian btw, at least according to the translations I have read.
I believe that guy, much like Brian Hawk, has an unusual style of dodging and is just has incredible natural agility.

There is a possibility that Kamogawa will lift the seal placed on spar between Itagaki and Ippo in order to prepare him for the fight in which no doubt will create ripples within Itagaki's own self ambition.

I agree, but he needs to lose to a credible opponent, not to a monkey boy who is obviously a joke character. A drama bomb like that needs a long build up, like how he introduced Date 10 volumes (wild guess) before he ever had them fight.
Or how he introduced Itagaki...no, no. It doesn't bear thinking about >_<

Speaking of losing protagonist in HNI.
Ippo lost to Date Miyata lost to Mashiba Date lost to El Diablo Richardo Martinez Itagaki lost to a FODDER!!! Well at least he was cheated it was not a clean fight. Takamura lost to Itagaki's dad in a joke contest. lol

a VERY HARD TIME! RBJ gave to Miyata. He got battered, since RBJ has that toughness, power, stance shifting and 2nd wind which turned the tied momentary to his favor until that lighting counter. He's probably at par with Sendo at speed, but as for power I think Sendo is above RBJ since he can break Miyata's guard with a punch. Also it seems when Sendo came back his punches became more deadly.
And yes Kimura. Too bad for Kimura since the belt was so near, gotta wonder if Kumi wasn't there will he have won? I know I did when I played as Kimura in the game lol!
