Thanks to Tsuyoshi, I've discovered the awesomeness of Kamelot and I think it's another one of my favourites now
So my updated list would be: - Fukuyama Masaharu - UVERworld - L'arc~en~Ciel - Iron Maiden - Kamelot - abingdon boys school

Some random stuff I usually listen to:
Anamanaguchi Asian Kung-Fu Generation Boards of Canada Chevelle Coheed and Cambria Daft Punk the pillows The Pixies Yoko Kanno And loads of other stuff like soundtracks. I'm pretty tempted to join Last.fm but I don't like social networking sites. Or the thought of stuff I'm doing being constantly tracked and made public. I'm a little paranoid. But yeah, I like a lot of random and weird stuff. Last edited by soccerghoul; 2011-08-14 at 13:24. |

I usually prefer 2-4 songs from each band so can't really call myself a fan but I have 2 exceptions: Linkin Park and Skillet.
I like most of their songs and actually based my Uni project and Skillet. Have produced 5 short promo videos for their album "Awake". If anyone is interested, you can find it here: Spoiler for saving space:

I recently found a band called FACT they've been around for quite some time now. The first two song that I heard from them was "error" and "shadow of envy". The melody of the song is really nice and can't stop listening to them atm :P

In highschool I was introduced to Rush by our band director (well, we were all introduced to them forcibly ). He has good taste though, it's been my favorite band ever since. As a musician I find them hard to not like, as professional as they are with their music. Always crisp and clean music and very unique songs with very thoughtful (and often deep, and/or political) lyrics. Also they're immortal, because despite their age none of them have died and they still go on tour.
Also I give a little nod to OK Go every now and then because as rarely as I listen to their new music, I'm often surprised that it continues to actually be kind of good. Lastly, I have to give a nod to Abingdon Boys School because years later I still find their anime openings getting stuck in my head for no reason.
