your suggestions are great, I need more

I've been taking suggestions on this forum and so far they've all been AWSOME.
I'm out of anime again and need more suggestions....

My favorites are:

-Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto

-Samurai 7

-Samurai Champloo

-FMA

-Death Note

I didn't like Rorouni Kenshin or fate/stay night that much.

I want something Dark, with a cute/cocky/handsome guy as the lead charactar, not so much romance, lots of blood and action, and prefarably shounen/historical.

Basilisk. If you ignore the middle part, it certainly have a lot of action and blood. It's dark too. It's about two ninja clans try to kill each other.

Samurai Deeper Kyo (for the samurai genre)...

Monster (if you want a good quality anime and story, and some darkness)...

Last Exile (a bit historical, visually dark anime, but good story)...

Shingetsutan Tsukihime (dark, short, and good)...

D.Gray-man (dark, and lots of blood)...

Akira (movie, a little bit of many things)...

Paranoia Agent (mystery)...

There should be a few others, but I guess, these series/movies will take enough of your time before starting others...

Kenshin had nice sword fights, but the whole I'm not gonna kill anyone was a bit of a throw-off! It annoyed me! But that's just me!

I tried the first few episodes of it, but once they started jumping back and fort in the past/future.....I lost interest! I like ONE main character...otherwise it gets confusing....specially that they all looked alike!!!!

In Basilisk, the design between the 20 characters is quite different. If I remember correctly, there's a flashback where they have someone that looks like the main character, but it's actually their father/mother or grandfather/grandmother or something like that. The main problem for me with Basilisk is that they didn't spread the action nicely.. and it's to dark! sometimes i need to increase the brightness to see anything!

You could try watching Gantz. It's dark, have somewhat cute/cocky/handsome guy as the lead, lots of blood and action, a bit romance (but got a sex scene), but not historical. The setting is in todays world with somekind of an alien.

It isn't historical but I wholeheartedly second Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho. Really. It's totally shounen and full of lots of fighting and there's tons of cute guys. Plus the main character is THE standard cocky shounen type. Very fun show.

I would also recommend Chevalier D'Eon to you, but it's quite difficult to get intersted in because it can be rather dry in many places. Also it isn't really very over-the-top or anything along those lines...
