He is a half vampire, right? Is he even a vampire? When Shinobu drinks his blood, he gets some of the side effect. So if he bites someone else, what effect can it cause? Hmmm... Btw, Senjougahara shouldn't mind too much about Araragi's indiscretion considering her own set of affection reserved for her Kouhai, Kanbaru Suruga, the girl who possess the best set of hips to date in anime. As long as he is keeping his tongue in check, I think she should have not too much to complain. May be she can be allowed to puncture a hole in his liver to blow off some steam and may even be allowed to tie a double knot bow-tie with the large intestine through that hole... but please nothing more severe than that.

my guess actually, is if hitagi has seen nadeko(I dont think they have really met yet) and mayoi, and if given some alone time, she'll just be as bad as araragi.

Remember that Hitagi is unable to see Mayoi (and quite possible every other girl except Shinobu).

Hanekawa was able to see/find Hachikuji when she was lost in deep emotional thought and aimlessly wandering around the town.

That is the key. In the series logic, every normal human are able to discover and talk to Hachikuji whenever they feel lost, including Gahara, though Gahara never once found her due to her stable mental strength.

Also, that no matter what, Gahara loves her father and would never NOT want to go home. The "not want to go home" is a requirement, and for Hanekawa it was nearly all the time. That's the old Snail though, and who knows how the rule works now that Snail is no longer a Lost Snail.
