because overall, very little happened. Johann Dieter Rüdiger is über powerful as expected and can even cut off Mamoru-kun's connection to Beatrice, without Ayako or anyone else noticing - this character's very reason of existance seems to be a nuisance to Mamoru&Ayako. But Mamoru-kun most likely won't make any moves before he can somehow defend himself against that annoying ability of Johann's..
What disappointed me as well where the performaces. If that was supposed to be a display of Beatrice used to create some visual effects to entertain the audience it sure failed, at least for me; the Mamoru&Ayako one even more than the first.
I see no problems for the relationship of those two either though, Ayako is shotacon and Mamoru doesn't exactly mind having the most beatiful girl in the school as his gf. Johann will have to try a little harder than that tiny bit of displaying his powers if he wants to stand a chance there. Making those two feel a bit uneasy with him around won't be enough. And what's with that plan he announced at the end of the ep, to take Ayako to Germany ? Would be interesting if that really happened but I somehow doubt it will.

well this ep was just to introduce a new "villian" character so i guess this is to start things off...tbh i dont even know what ayako wants anymore O.o if she is seriously considering the other guy then her love is pretty weak...but no...i doubt that she is that weak of a person and seriously she doesnt care if mamoru cant use his beatrice well...so tough luck mr evil guy ayako isnt changing...no matter how hard you try...

im sensing a final showdown O.o

I don't see why those who are Mamoru's friend notice (besides Ayako, a little bit, and Mr. Evil's Little sister) or help him against the emotional and psychological damage being inflicted on him by Mr. Evil. I know no one in real life who would just stand there and watch if they notcie something like that going on or be awed by the offender, unless they were just too affraid.

Well, I think that's part of it... The others address him as "-sensei", and he's clearly way out of their league. They got all in a line in anticipation of his arrival in a sign of respect (the way you'd welcome a distinguished guest). So, this guy's clearly a hot shot, and their senior in every sense. There isn't too much they can do; at this point, they're all a bit dazzled by his overwhelming power (and haven't totally figured out that he's singled out Mamoru in order to make himself look even better). I'm sure they'll root for the little guy when it comes down to it.

Why when the name Johann Dieter Rudiger got mentioned on the previous page did I immediately think handsome fellow voiced by Takehito Koyasu without knowing anything about the character. Seems I was right though on the Takehito Koyasu part, though I have no idea what the character looks like.

Well, this episode was all about Johann, except some love-love Ayako and Mamoru. But I don't believe him to be this series villain, he probably has his own goals but from my experience he is not true villain. Although I say this just based on raw episode, which I didn't understand much what they were saying.

Next weeks episode title is certainly interesting: Ayako-san's lover. I guess Johann seriously tries to seduce Ayako.

okey...heres ep 14 ~

well it start of from mamoru waking up from a nightmare that ayako is gonna be taken away by john ~ he wakes up and sees Eme fall while placing a box up a cabinet...big lump
Eme tells mamoru that she is happy that he is fine and explains that he overused his beatrice ~ but still mamoru clutches his chest...he says that he doesnt want ayako to be taken away ~ Eme saya that ayako is at the student council base and so he jumps up to go to her ~ right after giving his plaster to Eme

well john is in the room...it appears that he has forced ayako to give him an answer towards his proposal...ayako says that she will think about it and everyone is shocked/angry ~ well from what i can tell john is using blackmail tactics ~

later ayako and mamoru is in a train ~ she tells him that she doesnt have any feeling for john but mamoru begins to think otherwise...he says that ayako is scared of john...and that is the truth...ayako says that she really loves mamoru but at the same time is really scared of john...she doesnt know what to do and is confused as she knows that she is no match for john...this is getting depressing

at home mamoru gets a visit from shione and maya ~ the both ask him to go and help persuade ayako...even shione admits at ayako doesnt deserve this kind of torment...and mamoru weeps thinking back to his little conversation earlier...

we see the trio approaching the site where ayako is being held by john...he takes out an item...which seems to contain the core of a beatrice power source...john grabs her hand and makes her activate it...blowing up the container and setting free the core...his experiment had failed and it seems that the situation is going out of hand...maya activates a barrier to contain the entity ~

ayako is confused and is unable to take action...the core goes haywire and shoots death beams which john and Eme tries to contain...one aims for ayako and mamoru ~ it hits and we find them floating in some liquid (seems like a dream sequence) ~ ayako is lost...she doesnt have her confidence and is unable to protect mamoru...the both embrace each other and mamoru gives words of comfort ~ but well...it seems that they both have reached a conclusion...

ayako and mamoru is encouraged by maya and shione to gogo fighto! ^__^ even john pitches in and asks for help...well ayako and mamoru both focus their beatrice and charges up ~ the monster breaks free but mamoru and ayako completely fries it O.o job well done ^__^

well the next day...things are back to normal ~ an it seems that john is leaving as well...mamoru goes to send him of and at the same time says with confidence that he will be with ayako no matter what...well gracious in defeat john walks off...mamoru even says that he is ayako's lover and john smerks...but boy was it a forgiving smerk ^_^

well well...it didnt turn out quite what ive expected but still its good ^_^

So Mamoru-kun is weaker than Johann ? We know that already. And that Ayako is interested in Beatrice and therefore would love to participate in some cool research if she gets the possibility should be obvious too, at least it didn't surprise me at all. I don't even know why I'm putting this in spoiler tags.
After being a bit insecure about Ayako&Johann, Mamoru-kun showed his determination. Which imo is where he proved once again that he indeed is worthy. Standing up to Johann and telling him that Ayako is his lover - that was gold.

I just liked it, looks like Mamoru is growing a bit. But I'm still hoping he might eventually grow in height too.

Much more romantic episode than the previous ones and not so much comedy.

By the way, the next episode preview mentions how eating icecream makes your head hurt, I hate it!

Next episode we will see more Emelenzia, now the fun beguns!

haha i really like this anime for some reason, ayako kind of reminds me of rosette from chrno crusade... but even though it's all cute, it's still a little disturbing how mamoru is a lolita-boy type. and i know girls fall for that type, like in ouran high school host club, but seriously, he has to gain some height. right now it's OK while they're teeny-boppers, but if they were to ever become adults... bahhh.. it's like a giant queen and a midget king, like you see in those stereotypical cartoons... ah well.

Incidentally, for the benefit of those curious about such things, episode 15 didn't air this week. I guess WOWOW decided they wanted to show the Australian Open (Tennis) instead; they've done this sort of thing before (pre-empt late night anime for sports/movies/etc.). Anyway, the show will return next week and continue at its normal time.

Not much happened in this episode, but Mamoru-kun proves once again that these random episodes can be very funny.
Anyway, a Shione-centric episode as she appears with her hair down, which pretty much shocks everyone at the school and even normally always happy and energetic Mitsuki (the camera girl) runs away in horror.

Two major points: It was revealed that the class president likes straight hair girls and clearly has an eye for Ayako, when he watches her making dinner. Possible rival to Mamoru (but null changes of course) and Ayako's grand-father returns to Japan, probably indicating that something major is going to happen, when only 9 episodes are left.

^ holy! i knew shione was a knockout from the start

lets see...ep 15 ~

well its starts with some talk between mamoru and kikukawa ~ he tells mamoru to take care of ayako making her annoyed ^__^
well while walking up the hill we have one of these moments again where ayako goes into MEGAdere more ^__^ she goes ahead and says that she will meet up with mamoru later...

whille going along the the corridor mamoru finds misfortune as he trips...but then shione greets him...with her hair let down! O.o well he doesnt recognise her at first but soon clicks in he freaks out LOL!

well it is shown via a flashback how shione got her hair like that...well she was fixing up her hair in front of the mirror with maya teasing her for being a demon...she turns on the TV and screams...maya goes to see whats wrong and a worn out shione tells him to go school first...

mamoru is worried about shione thinking that she might have a fever...mitsuki shows up and asks mamoru where shione is...LOL...shione turns around and says hi...mitsuki freaks out and people start to swarm out looking at shione...is it really that shocking? LOL...shione gets pissed and her beatrice causes windows to break...

maya shows up and asks whats all the noise about...shione says "oniisama" but maya relplies that if only she had a cute sister like her...so not even her recognises shione lol!
she gets pissed and mamoru asks him to look closer...ayako shows up and even she is shocked...maya breaksdown crying at her cute sister...ayako thinks that this shione must be a fake bla bla and that an investigation is needed to reveal this INBOU!!! HAHA XD

at the student council meeting our guys talk about shione...with yagi pulling stunts in the BG XD mitsuki breaks down into moe moe crying with mamoru patting her like a dog ^__^
all this time shione is in the back moping lol

well the operation starts with theories to how this could have happened...

~ first comes the dead chiwawa theory
~ then the ufo theory

poor shione...the gang continues to grind her new hair do nito the ground >.<

blowing things out of the water maya suggests that shione might be blackmailed...ayako then comes up with a real suggestion saying that the reason behind shione's hair style is because she is in love...the gang breaks down laughing XD

paying her a visit mamoru and ayako goes into her house to talk about the situation...teasing ayako asks if shione is in love...maya denies it and says that its due to terrorists...

the both of them tie her but and tries to gag the truth out of her HAHAHA! XD

the detectives come (in disguise) and search shione's room...they notice a crack in her mirror and just ties to find more evidence...searching through photo albums we see how shione has wierd hair since she was young...even chibi ayako LOL ^__^

in another album we see maya with his girlfriends 1, 2 and 3 ...mamoru points out that maya may have a fetish for long and straight hair causing maya to turn around embarrassed...shione comes in screaming with a metal bar...ayako by reflex knocks her down and she runs off crying (hidoi! ;_

mamoru finds her sitting on a swing...she asks him if her hair is really wierd but its not that he replies...well the truth is that shione just wants maya to look at her the same way he does with ayako...

at home we see maya's perverted look on ayako's hair lolol...returning we see a renunion between brother and sister ^_^ but what im also feeling here us that maya has strong feelings for ayako as well...

okey ~ with that done shione returns to her normal hair style the next day...(random funny scene with ayako and the manga books lolol) ~
shione has a flashback to what happened on TV yesterday and it reveals that its a stright hair day for her but well after all that shione still pref her old hair style ^__^

in the car...ayako gets a phone call from ojiisama saying that hes gonna return to japan...(hes the guy in the photos of ayako as a chibi)

well it was a nice break from the emotional trauma of the previous eps ~ and this sets the scene for the next arc ^__^

Episode 15 was mildly funny, although the expressions and fukukaicho-bashing were very amusing.

Please don't tell me the next episode is another Mamoru-needs-to-gain-acceptance-from-authority-figure thing.
