Spoiler for Episode 7 of The Messy Hair maiden:

Hm... if i were to say, not as enjoyable as the previous 2 eps. Seeing Kaoru went emo the whole ep kinda brought her charm down. But since its a part of her storyline, nothing can be done about that.

Kaoru, after witnessing her mum walking together with another guy, didn't return to her home at that night. She also didn't attend to school the next day, which led Junichi to wonder if the belly-button kiss he had made Kaoru angry. When Kaoru's friend Tanaka told Junichi that Kaoru's mum made a call to the school about Kaoru, Junichi became worry. He skipped the school, looking at the town area for Kaoru, and passing through certain stores on the town, he remembered the memories he had with Kaoru on that particular store.

After series of events, he finally found Kaoru working on the family restaurant, and becoz he was short of money at that time, he waited for Kaoru outside the restaurant, and Kaoru spotted him when she looked outside through the window. They both have a series of conversation between them, mainly about Kaoru's problem. In the end, with support from Junichi, Kaoru finally resolves her own problem, and return back to normal.

In the bathroom, its Junichi's turn to question himself as to why he felt the intense within his heart.


Imouto entering the forbidden area... did she sees it?

I noticed Kaoru using "Thank You" few times in this episode.. and i think i heard she says "Good Morning" to Junichi too at school.

Also a cute appearance of Hibiki-Haruka and Ai-Sae-Miya. Also in the beginning of the episode, Miya seems to know exactly where Junichi was looking at on the TV during an advertisement showing a girl wearing a bikini that reveals her tummy.

You know you're an Amagami SS fan when you download the 2.05GB Elitist Fags version, and wonder why there are like 60+ leechers besides you.

Ontopic:
Junichi-themed episode, with him trying to bring Kaoru back to hapiness, with success. Can't remember how many times I've been in similar situations with my friends, it's nice to see characters act like you do.

That was... quite a change of mood. As I had feared, the drama felt very weak to me. It wasn't all that bad, but it's clearly not the series' forte, so I hope they won't try to add more in the future arcs. Not that much romantic development in this episode either, at least compared to Haruka's arc.

Still, it wasn't bad. I very much enjoyed the Miya scenes, and the last scene of the episode. Glad to see Kaoru back to her old cheery and lovely self.

Hmmm....

I wonder if Kaoru will have her arc extended to 5 episodes. "Progress" as ep8 title somehow doesn't exactly sound like the end of the line. It would also fit a bit better with the drama arc shown in this ep.

Spoiler for ep 7:

A bit slow and uneventful (and sorely lacking in Kaoru), but I guess it's a necessary setup for next week's finale. It's good that they didn't rush how Junichi realised his feelings, though, and Kaoru's issue with her mother was actually minor.

One complaint is - too much interruption from the other girls.
Also, that's it from Miya - navel-licking monster? Disappointed.

Oh! - I liked seeing the dates he had with Kaoru in the past- it fleshed out their relationship even more.
(I agree, Junichi - it would be rude not to look when they're lining up their shot)

Hahaha, yeah this cracked me up too. The kid has a long and promising future ahead of him!

Also, when Junichi was contemplating why he might like Kaoru he had those flashbacks of those "special places". Was anyone else thinking, "Yeah...you don't need love to be thinking about those!"

I love the part when he said, "she got me". I can relate to that.

I wish that would be the case... really love Kaoru's arc so much that i hoped it would be somehow extended by several more eps. But after reading a certain source, it is confirmed that ep 9 would be a new arc for the next girl.

The sudden outburst in the classroom was okay.

But I kind of sighed when he heard Kaoru skipped school, and ran off in a panic.
kind of over-reacting there. who does that...even by anime standards.

maybe I'm just getting old and going "oh youth..."

the problem with the mom turned out the minor, and I liked that, just a small bump as a way to get the two of them closer.

Junichi gets pts for the chocolate at the end. Manly..

for an episode title labled "Betrayal" not much betrayal really went on this episode.

also for some reason, I really hate the voice of Junichi's sister's friend. The soft-spoken one with the pigtails...

Normal... Not very interesting drama.
That kind of episode...
But thinking about it positively! It was a lot less unbelievable than the previous arc, *nod*!

Youkai Hesoname was the highlight of the episode. Ah~ The guy's a "youkai". Everything makes sense now...

And she really is going "Tenkyuu" after all.

Next time... is the end already, huh? That was quick (kind of not in a good meaning?)

Episode was a little not over drama but still 9/10 easily.

If your close friend that you've known for a long time suddenly disappears for no logical reason, and you believe that friend could be in danger, wouldn't you rush off to find that person as soon as possible?

The betraying is Kaoru's feeling that her mom has betrayed her and her father by going out with another man. She thought that she and her mother had a strong enough bond that they did not need anyone else and felt betrayed that her mom needed the comfort of a stranger.

Isn't she going to be one of the main girls in one of the arc? Sae will have her turn, so hopefully, you will make it through that...

Such a tease - the part where Junichi puts his hand on Kaoru's shoulder and she reaches for it - they really want to make us wait a week.
