No, there is nothing wrong with you. Well, there may be, but not because of that line of thinking.

Given the relative severity of their medical conditions, it would be far more likely for Rika to die than Yuuichi. So for him to die instead of her would be an unexpected - if not exactly surprising - twist.

That is true. But you also cannot rule out that Yuuichi would be fully recovered before the production crew decides to kill him off.

Also if Yuuichi was still has hepatitis when he died, I would want Rika to use his heart. Operation -> Infection -> Die -> Yuuichi and Rika togther on the other side.

argh... I'm definitely downloading this show but I'm going to put it aside til I can brace myself to watch it in one setting ... hell, I still get misty-eyed when I hear the Azora music from AIR. Too many of my favorite people in my life are dead too young so this kind of stuff just gets to me.

I thought about this one at lunch today:

-Rika goes thru the surgery and Yuuichi borrows his friends'
battered scooter to run out and buy flowers for her recovery.

-On the way back to the hospital, an innatentive driver broadsides
the scooter causing Yuuichi to go flying into the street.

-End of story (or not)...

I'm relieved to hear that this will be only 6 eps. I can't imagine how dull it would be to watch two sick teenagers in the hospital for 13-26 episodes, or how ridiculously improbable it would be that they would go on a lot of adventures while waiting for a heart transplant.

I'm wondering if she would actually be allowed to be in contact with a boy who has hepatitis.

Maybe we should just ignore that part and concentrate on the romance.

And I'm also wondering what the boy likes about the girl. I understand that heroes like to save damsels in distress, but she hasn't done anything to redeem her bratty princess behavior from earlier.

A pretty face and tight body are nice, but they get boring pretty quickly... otherwise the old guy would've needed only one porn mag!

Actually I managed to get a raw op. But then I failed to make an avatar out of it. I've cut the op of that part and made a sequence of bmps... 500

Then it was too painfull to select the essential frames...

. Well putting all those 500 bmps into the animator of paintshop pro and then cullling until get <30 was just too painfull.

Still about those curve corners... did you use imageready of photoshop ?

I use Imageready. And used 6-7 frames on the AV.

Another person told me too that he used imageready. I had photoshop installed for a year or so and didn't even notice the imageready link... lol. Anyway I am a noob in photoshop or whatever program related.

Episode 2 was worth waiting for -- although I'm glad episode 3 will come sooner. I'm still right there for this series. Best so far this season. I love the atmosphere and the kinds of emotions it generates. And definitely the OP and ED. Rika continues to be so attractive, in all her moods. More props for Takahashi Mikako. And I'm appreciating the work of Sugimura Ken'ichi as Yuichi, as well. (He played Shin in GSD.)

From the time he/she posted -- like within a half-hour of the broadcast ending -- I think eggplant was watching on TV in Japan. Lucky!

Spoiler for epsiode 2: So we get the Tada=Ezaki Collection (skin mags) story, which becomes the basis for Yuuichi and Rika's recent rift. And then the introduction of Dr. Natsume, the antagonist, who manipulates the psychological feelings of the younglings to great effect. The plot didn't develop as quickly as episode 1 did, but we're presented with heavy drama. If I were hospitalized for 6years (and maybe longer), I suppose Rika's reaction to Yuuichi indulging in the porn mags wasn't necessarily exaggerated, but locking him out on the roof in the cold? Being a patient herself, that's cause for concern on her behalf. But they do generate emotion. The locking out on the roof certainly did seem a bit much. And the doctor's manipulation made even me want to do him violence. Grrr. It looks from the preview as if next week we may get some explanation, and an opportunity to sympathize with him at least a bit. The reconciliation scene on the roof was well done, especially the way Rika talked about the weather rather than being direct at first.
