No HM, it wasn't directed at you. The pic in fact looks really nice and cool, but there comes a time where there's gotta be a limit to how much of a good thing some things are. At first I found the pairings between certain characters, NaLu, GruVia, JelErza, etc. fun and entertaining, but then when you see stuff like Erza and Laxus, Minerva and Sting (really?), and other unorthodox examples like that, it's time to dump some cold water on your shipping and let it chill from the overload.

Crack pairings are fun though... Besides, I like LaxusxErza, they're both great characters, and Erza seems to have a pretty good opinion of him, during Tenrou Island.

He's at least better for her than Jellal. Why couldn't he be as cool as Mystogan?

There is no "crack" pairing where Erza is concerned. Almost everybody ogles after her or has immense respect for her or idolizes her or has a crush on her. I have not yet seen someone who absolutely loathes her - misguided people do not count.

The closest to a crack pairing would be Minerva X Erza - now that is crack in every sense.

Crack pairings don't have to hate each other, they just have to be, erm, off-the-wall. Erza x Happy, for instance

Why are we arguing the proper classification of shipping relationships? Cut that out, guys. Leave that crap to Reddit and 4chan.

But the way I see it, Natsu could easily be shipped with Lucy, Erza, OR Lisanna. Any one of those three (or all of those three, hehe) could be possible pairings.

...However, FT isn't a romance. I seriously doubt any pairings will actually be canon (aside from Erza x Jellal) until the manga advances a lot further.

The way I see it, the obvious "canon" pairings are thus:
Natsu x Lucy
Erza x Jellal
Gajeel x Levy
Gray x Juvia
Elfman x Evergreen (lulz)

As far as I've observed, FT members such as Cana, Mirajane and Laxus don't really have any specific chemistry with any other specific character. Not saying that they won't in the future, but for now, any shipping with those characters have no real basis in the story thus far.
