well anyway.. my current problem is that i cant convert the mkv. vfr using my old methods because the software crashes..

for AlltoAvi "AllToAVI_v4_r5394_Setup.exe"
its mencoder.exe crash..

for MeGUI
its xvid_encraw.exe or something.. xD - CRASH..

well.. atm... i want 2 learn how to use.. the
"ffmpegsource-2.14"

because thats what seems to be what other people are using...
and im open 2 suggestions of other programs...

you wanted to remove the subtitles but otherwise keep the video/audio as it is, did you not? in that case the only program you need to use is mkvmerge. nothing else is needed. try that checkbox I hinted about, it's really magic.

also, jesus fuck learn to google up solutions that are actually relevant to your problem instead of going off on retarded wild goose chases.

You don't have to manually copy them in this case, mkvmerge will automatically copy them over, just don't set any "fps" in mkvmerge.

I did it, but when i check the output video(.mkv) with MediaInfo it doesn't show that the frame rate mode is Veriable nor maximum frame rate.

Install AviSynth, its ffmpegsource plugin, then save the following using a text editor as e.g. "whatever.avs":

that is how to know that my *.ts anime source is VFR or CFR?

the pattern guidance description here said that for VFR sources you enable all c and other stuff while in CFR sources it's better to disable "us c" (I guess)..

so how can thins be recognized?

You look at the source and see if there are sections that aren't telecined and don't have dupe frames. That is, look for fully progressive sections (no 3:2 combing pattern) with motion on every frame, or truly interlaced sections with combing on every frame.

I'm still quite lost. I'm sure this was gone over in older posts, but I didn't see it. How should I load my mpeg.ts source into MeGUI, then what do I need to put into the script for it 'accidentally' time codes?

So far what I've been doing is loading my source into the AVS Script creator, then it asks how I want to load the source. I pick Direct Show Source, then it loads the preview clip just fine. I change the resolution and DAR from 1440x1080/4:3 to 1280x720/16:9, still no issue. I go to the filters and click Dss2 of Direct show source like usual, source is anime and interlaced via top field. I select the TDient filter with Bob preset and use the bicubic sharp resize filter, still no problem. Now when I go to script, I try to edit it so I can put the time codes part into the command line so I can make a VFR file.
Part of the command line:
dss2("C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\One Piece 521.ts", fps=29.970,timecodes="One Piece 521.txt").AssumeFPS(30000,1001)
I then click save, My computer goes fuck....
The error code stated that I needed an "," or an '')" on line 2 in column 90.

Where was DreGons fuck up??
