What are the countries involved and how exactly are they affected by each other's number of weapons? Quote:
Why did she do both? why not just kill the competitor or just persuade the client? And how did they manage to get invited to the other dealer's room? I hit something vague. It's not enough. There's lots more details to figure out. |

The dealer himself arranged it. The snipers are clear sign he prepared the set up. Just that he never counted on Koko's team being so deadly. If that nation's MiGs are upgraded, they will be more bold in taking the offensive to their foes. Quote:
Also...what are the chances Koko is loco I said OH NO being part of the full OP?

The countries' names weren't mentioned in the manga so I don't know. All I can deduct from that guy's words is that the country isn't on good terms with its neighbors and if the military get their hands on the cargo, the tension will rise and there could be war. The rest are my own speculation, so you can disagree with me. As for why she did those things, you can speculate to some certain degree if you give it some thought. My guess is that she had to kill him to make him an example to warn other arms dealers, and because he probably belonged to some company, killing him didn't void the transaction so she had to persuade the client with her deal. You can actually find this anime more enjoyable if you don't think too deeply and demand answer for everything |

It was never mentioned in the manga but from owning all the volumes it is strongly hinted Jonnah is from some European country the whole white hair red eyes throws off where he's from but he is not a native african from one part of the manga where they visit africa even though he has dark skin.
As for what's going on in the first episode. Koko's company is selling upgrades to a certain countries military that will put them on level playing fields with their neighboring country who they are enemies with. So a rouge member of the military wants to prevent the merchandise from reaching the air force even if it goes against his countries wishes. The Volkesh 6 members are a elite team of soldiers he ordered to stop the deal by killing the arms dealer, they failed. The second part a arms dealer from a rival company showed up and wants a piece of the pie when Koko wants to be the only arms dealer in the picture. So killing him would solve nothing they would just send another broker to pick up where he left off. By getting the client to void the contract and killing the dealer she sent a message this territory is mine don't go trying to sale weapons without my permission. For World Peace is exactly what she believes in. If you read the whole manga series weapons can be used for good or bad, deterrents but what the client uses them for is not her problem and she has no qualms about it. So having a weapon gives you possibilities vs being unarmed and at the mercy of your foes. |

Just watched the first episode on a whim. The OP gave off strong Black Lagoon vibes, which is a good thing imo, but I can't say I was all that excited after watching the episode. There seems to be way too many chars to keep track of if this is only 12 episodes and none of them seem that interesting so far.
I'll probably give this another episode or two, maybe it'll pick up if the team doesn't execute everything perfect, isn't immune to actually getting hit by weapons, and some of them die. Otherwise it's kinda bleh. |

I had no idea the first episode was going to be so bad-ass! It pretty much had everything I like in action anime. Koko gave me about 5 good laughs during this episode. As for Jonah, he's just plain awesome in that creepy child soldier way.
