Of course, one of the disadvantages to being the strongest clan in Konoha is that all the top jounins are much more likely to analyze your techniques and try to find a way to counter them. Afterall, neither an Uchiha or a Hyuuga was ever Kage, so we can assume there are many ways to defeat them. It could be that Kakashi knows their main weaknesses, one of which is not Neji specific, UserName (at least I think not.)

the sharingan wouldnt help much in this fight against hiashi because it doesnt ccopy bloodline limits, it would help him see his movemenst though, the one thing i dont understand why people overate kakashi so much they try to make him seem invincible.

This is hard to say considering kakashi obviously hides his true ability. Even against a ninja as dangerous as zabuza, he didn't make his move until he feared naruto's seal might break, releasing kyuubi.
If i had to put money on it, i'd bet Kakashi because it would be funner. If i had to make an educated guess, i'd probably say Hiashi tho.... Kakashi seems like he might be a great ninja, but hiashi is the leader of the leaf village's oldest clan. Too much is still unknown about kakashi's past other than he was trained by the 4th. |

But being the oldest clan also mean having a lot of secret jutsu. We've only seen genin-rank Hyuuga Jutsu. I just KNOW Hiashi has a lot of Hyuuga-specific jutsu.
Maybe attack one's tenketsu at range with chakra. Edit: The Hyuuga HAVE to have something similar to Ameterasu or Mangekyou |

Well, from what I have seen so far, I would say Kakashi is the better bet. The only thing we have seen from Hiashi is his super Kaiten. I don't think he is as strong as Neji though because if I remember correctly, he was surprised at how Neji was able to handle the Kaiten and 64 thingy easily without losing too much chakra or something like that. But I think I will need to see more of Hiashi before I can make a better judgement.

Lotus Lee he was surprised at how young neji was to be able to use those Hyuuga-specific jutsu and that Neji tought it to himself, without a proper teacher.
Hiashi is still leader of Hyuuga, the oldest clan. After all these years, the Hyuuga MUST have something equal in power to Mangekyou or Ameterasu. |

I would say Kakashi, not for a question of strength because we barely know anything about Hiashi but because of their experiences.
Hiashi isn't a jounin even if he's jounin level, as the head of the Hyuga he rules his clan from Konoha, he doesn't go outside to accomplish mission, it's the duty of the Branch Family members who can die outside Konoha because of their cursed seal which keep their abilities secret when they're killed. So Hiashi doesn't have the same experience of the battlefield than Kakashi and I think it can make the difference. Also if Kakashi can keep up against Gai who is probably the best Taijutsu specialist of the whole show I think he can dealt with the Taijutsu skills of Hiashi. Remain the unknown jutsus of Kakashi and Hiashi but as they're unknown there isn't much to say about it ^^ And hokagenaruto3 no there is absolutely no reason for that, not that it's impossible, just not particulary probable. |

i voted "not sure."
kakakshi only has one good eye, and hisashi has two. kakashi himself admited that the byakugan might have a slight advantage, but who knows what he really meant. he could have meant that some things you can see with the byakugan you cant see with the sharingan (obviously). we just dont know enough about hisashi for me to make a sound judgment. the fight could end with total domination, or a great even battle, i have no clue. kakashi was trained by the 4th, is konoha's technique specialist (not the strongest jounin, like said earlier), knows 1000+ jitsus, has the chidori, and has one sharingan eye. hisashi, all weve seen him do is kill an intruder with one strike to the chest, and waste several weak sand/sound nin with the kaiten. we can assume that he knows the 64 hand strike, and can prolly use the byakugan better then neji. though, if it came down to taijitsu alone, kakashi would be owned. for this reason, gai versus hisashi would also be cool. IMO this would be an even, great battle with an unexpected outcome. |

So I dunno. If Hiashi was having a good day, he would win. If Kakashi was also having a good day, he would win. |
