Ok so after couple years of not watching any new anime nor reading any mangas, i kind of want to get back into this and hopefully some new materials came out during my break

I can say i watched almost all the animes i like before '08 so any suggestions must from that year till now.

Must have the following genres: action, fantasy and romance. A little bit of comedy in between is a bonus. Prefered main character to be male, hero type.

5 animes i liked: Full metal panic, Fate stay night, Kenichi, Gundam Seed and 00 and Sword Art Online just became one of my new favorites

I had a full list of all the animes ive seen uploaded to a web page before but forgot where lol.... im almost sure ive seen everything before 08 so thats why i asked for new series.

watching the 5th episode atm... it is ok but i definitly liked Fate stay night more. The episodes of zero feel kind of slow and boring to me.

How about Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu (The Legend of the Legendary Heroes)?
That seems to fit most of the genres you asked for.

yup but it has too much echi for my taste... i know im being a bit picky here but animes like Legend of the legendary heroes or Tiger & Bunny arent what im looking for. I know they fall under the same category (action, fantacy and romance) but im looking for something more like Full metal panic or fate stay night.

Considering that Fujiko spends a good portion of some episodes wearing little or even nothing at all, it might not be your cup of tea either. On the other hand, her sexuality is presented in an adult way, as a method of getting men to do her bidding. It's not the boy falling face first into the girl's breasts type of ecchi seen in school comedies.
