Interesting episode especially with more focus on Aerial Knights. Seems like Bogue still holds a grudge against Walkure.

Meanwhile, there's party with everyone celebrating. I wonder what the heck Mikumo was doing at night. Nice little air show as well.

Aerial Knights make their attack but with more support this time. I felt like this battle was even more intense than the previous. First time seeing Hayate in aerial dogfight with actual combat. Mikumo stands out as the ace imo this episode and I'm glad to see them use that song Freyja used before.

No seriously, I think those Aerial Knights got some serious firepower ;o

Windermere has declared war on the NUN. Revealing themselves in an attack and in ostentatious way. Raining on Freyja's debut.



Mikumo and Freyja countered Heinz song with a duet.



Oh Mikumo being mysterious and naked talking to something in an open sky. While she does give Sivil like vibes I think she is something else.



Freyja is a fan of Minmay, Fire Bomber, Sheryl, Ranka and Walkure. Sharon Apple not included.


Okay the Aerial Knights are a fan Varauta VFs and Macross Galaxy's VF-27 given the head units just to show they are edge lords.

The Kingdom of Wind has declared war on the casus belli the Protoculture legacy is theirs. For a race that has a life expectancy of 30 years they went full on crazy. Last time I seen something like this was Naresuan and Fasces committing terrorist acts as they believe Earth culture is the second coming of the Protoculture and they disapprove of decentralization wanting a second Stellar Republic.

Windermere has gone full on Succession State or Comstar on the NUN and the rest of the Sub-Protoculture races.

Most of the people who fought in their independence war are probably dead of old age or old people by now (FYI it concluded like 6 years ago...). This is basically a generation of kids who just want to take over the galaxy.

They probably think Var-terrorism will make them win or something. Going by how fast this is going, I suspect the plot is going to take a different turn mid-way though.

Well they are so confident enough to declare wars against entire NUNS. Let see how powerful they are. I mean Draken already as powerful as VF-31

Not even a few minutes into the raw after the intro and all I can think about is how awesome the clothing design is in this show.

Also, Querule eating in ReiRei's plate and nobody minding it.

Conventional war they are toast. Thus unconventional warfare. If NUN is really serious they'd send in Basara, Sheryl and Ranka.

I wouldn't want to go against those monsters at once, especially Basara.

I believe Wind Kingdom will use that song to create multiple large scale VER outbreak
and used NUN troop against each other... while the Aerial Knight is an ace unit that mainly target important thing during the confusion
They're arrogant bunch and their method is sickening...

Mein Gott, the Draken has the most badass Battroid mode of... anything, and we've only barely seen it so far. Or, they went through some considerable effort to make it look like an armored knight for obvious reasons.

Well, a handful of Aerial Knights totally dominated over a whole NUNS fleet in episode 1 until they ran into Delta squad, so clearly they've got some good game.

Through all of Frontier, Fire Bomber was never shown or even mentioning ( I don't remember Ozma ever talking about them, anyway) beyond their songs being played or Ozma naming maneuvers after their songs, now they just full-on showed them.

And yeah, I'm also expecting the plot to take a different turn somewhere down the line.

While a grand-scale intergalatic showdown with multiple singers sounds like fun, I will personally prefer watching Sharon Apple and the VF-19/29 ADVANCE nuking the Wind Castle. Yet I am a big Plus fan.

Great episode. I really wish after this battle that Hayate realize that he NEEDS to attend his Yudo Class. It would have save him a lot of troubles today.
