What I liked in the past episodes was Sasuke and Itachi's interaction, especially Sasuke's phrase "I can see through your genjutsu! Those are your eyes!" quite powerful coming out from him, who wants answers.

Also Sasuke-centric ED sounds quite nice after all those clumsy/stupid EDs.

So after dropping the anime 3 years ago due to destruction of quality in the Pein fight, I decided to resume it again. At least the Raikage/Sasuke fight looks good so far...

This past week has been very good to us shounen fans with Naruto anime adding to the fun overload. That's two weeks on a row that I've actually enjoyed a Naruto episode.

This!!! Just so fucking this!!!!!!!!!!

I nearly fell out of my chair when madara said that line. I also loved the whole Q & A session with kabuto. I felt that it really tied up some loose threads in this series.

Finally a real villain who isn't all talk like that aizen guy!!!

The original phrasing was "Hebi Hakase". "Hebi", of course, means "snake". "Hakase" can mean "doctorate; PhD; Dr. (as a title)", but it can also (and this was what was meant in the scene) mean "expert; learned person". So the "snake expert" seen in the anime's proper subbing (and in the official translation of the manga) is the right phrasing; "Dr. Snakes" was a clumsy mistake made by a fansubber when the manga chapter first came out, choosing the incorrect translation of "hakase".

That's sad to know. I wish voice actors got more recognition for their work. I'm sure he will be missed by those who were close to him and everyone in the voice acting profession.

Agreed! I always loved how Kisame sounded. The actor voiced him exactly the way I thought while reading the manga.

He was 50 years old when he died. He will be missed.

And the actor died on Naruto's birthday on top of that.

My all time favorite voice is Oro's lol. That has to be one of the best matching voice to character personalities, seriously. Itachi's is pretty cool too.

yea totally! my top 3 favorite voices are probably them and kakashi. naruto's and jiraiya's are great too imho

that would make sense, but i guess not. he can spam his techniques without losing eyesight, but they still cause damage to his body in the short term

Not that anyone cares since this thread is literally the lady in the fishnet stockings whose name escapes me as she lay "dead" next to Kabuto's chessboard, but I cheered a full fist-pump when during the Kabuto flashback intro it showed his eyes go RED...A callback to the chuunin exam ep when Kabuto was spying on Sasuke and Naruto and nearly lost his $hit during a battle and was seemingly about transform or something as his eyes began to glow red...

Kabuto has never been shown in the history of this program like that but for that ep and this one...

As horrible as Naruto has been for so many reasons in-terms of destroying fanbase respect based on fillers and pacing, it's stuff like this that in an abridged-way speaks to a creator that gets it...

I pray we get full disclosure on this which will perhaps explain why Oro couldn't use him as a vessel...Actually very interested in Kabuto's back story now...

Well, it was interesting to see how his mind works. Looks like all 3 of them have a lot in common.. After learning more about Kabuto's life, it's kinda hard to hate him..
