Yesterday's Results:
Uiharu Kazari - 281 Saten Ruiko - 155 Miki Sayaka - 519 Yuuki Mikan - 87 Nymph - 286 Tomoe Mami - 571 The split vote didn't matters. The Puella Magi crushed their opponents. As strong as I knew Sayaka was, I didn't think she would be able to get a majority of the votes against Uiharu and Saten let alone with some room to spare. Mami went and broke 60% against two strong opponents. It's not like Uiharu and Nymph just gave up. Their vote totals were pretty good. Sayaka and Mami just both had a ton of votes. I guess the Madoka fanbase doesn't want to take any chances. Today's matches: Shimada Minami vs Charlotte Dunois vs Mitsuki Sohara Hiro vs Yuuno Arashiko vs Miyafuji Yoshika A rematch from preliminary group 12 here. Minami was 7th while Charlotte outright won the group. Minami is definitely a fair bit stronger now than she was during preliminaries. However, I don't think it's enough to close the gap. While she did well against Hirasawa Yui last round that was likely Yui being far weaking than before like all the other K-On characters. Yoshika shouldn't have any problems winning her match. While not unbeatable, the Strike Witches have shown quite a bit of strength. I don't think characters as strong as Hiro or Arashiko will be able to beat Yoshika. Votes: Charlotte Dunois Hiro Predictions: Charlotte Dunois Miyafuji Yoshika

Not at all when one realises that one man's moe is another man's poison. I'm not young enough to think that my moe is the only moe. However, this is a tournament so one can expect it to be like a football (international term and the finger to the ManU team) match where objectivity is not really present and you can rage freely against the characters you dislike.

Minami <3
It would definitely be one of the most pleasant surprise this year if she can make it through this round. Yoshika also has her match under control. Now that they don't have to make way for Saki girls Strike Witches are quietly but surely advancing their lines one by one...

Well, 2-0 again, 14-6 in Round 2 and 84-32 Overall. Can't say Minami didn't try. Falling short against a top tier girl is nothing to be sad at, though, consider I don't have any expectation for Minami what-so-ever...(Okay, Baka to Test 2 helps definitely, but still...)
On the other match, Yoshika wins as expected. The power level b/t her and the other two is quite a bit... Onto next round. E2-3: Nohohon-san - Just b/c Japanese loves her... F2-3: Yuuko - A-Channel gets more love than Nichijou... |

I like almost all the characters today, except the dog girl because I haven't seen the show. Tought to choose in the 2nd match
On queue: E2-3 <<高原歩美@神のみぞ知るセカイ シリーズ>> (Takahara Ayumi @ Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai series) track girl over weird costume girl from IS. <<のほほんさん@IS <インフィニット・ストラトス>>> (Nohohon-san @ Infinite Stratos) <<ユキカゼ・パネトーネ@DOG DAYS>> (Yukikaze Panettone @ Dog Days) F2-3 <<東雲なの@日常>> (Shinonome Nano @ Nichijou) cool robot girl <<乃莉@ひだまりスケッチ×☆☆☆ 特別編>> (Nori @ Hidamari Sketch x ☆☆☆ Tokubetsu-hen) computer geek, most level headed of all the Hidamari characters. Going with her becuase her show is more moe <<ユー子@Aチャンネル>> (Yuuko @ A Channel) Mio clone

Nano vs Yuuko in a Shana revenge match. Fine with either. Nano is ultra cute and also there's that thing about avoiding losing to a loser. I want Ayumi badly... to win. Pika-tan is the new Izumi, she's fine though.

For the person negrepping me for this, thank you for making it successful.
As for the matches, I can't decide between Yuki and Ayumi so I will abstain that match. The other one is an obvious Nano vote but since I haven't seen Nori and Yuuko yet I'll abstain due to courtesy as well in this match. |

Or, for that matter, anyone left at all in E and F that can beat Sayaka or Mami? In F, it's really Mami's to lose now. The PMMM fanbase would have to get lazy for her to get KO'd. In E, maybe Ohana or Haqua, even then the odds aren't good for either of them.
