There were some short video segments released on twitter before the series came out which show the sisters who have died. Someone translated and created .ass files for them, but you need to download them to watch them: so far as I know the translated videos have not been put up online anywhere. Here's a folder on mega with the whole set.

Nothing on the First Person, but at least those give you a bit more about what happened before the series started.

Yeah, I know about those, but I'm wondering if they will show them in the actual anime. For any anime, no outer material is a replacement/excuse for not doing something in the actual anime. Of course, technically in this case, these dead three do not need to be that developed for the story to run its course, so I wouldn't fault it even if it did not do so.

Yeah, all of them seem like humanoid plants of some sort. The desire to get water is certainly there.

And the ending is disturbing. It seems to show those who already died.

Until they met the Nushi on the bridge, the episode was pretty boring. As for the fight, it was okay, but, if it wasn't for Wakaba, they'd all be dead meat (or veggies, or whatever the sisters are). Too bad they didn't acknowledge this and give Wakaba the credit he deserves.

I know I am in the vast majority here but, to me, Wakaba is a hero. Jumping in front of someone to prevent them from getting killed, at the risk of sacrificing his own life, and without hesitation, is what heroes do.

And why, oh why, does he still have that root around his waste? Is it some sort of fashion statement? Since it doesn't prevent him from using his hands or feet, it's not much of a security precaution.

The Rinas are confusing. I'm sure I saw one of them suddenly split into two and then go back to being one, and I'm still unclear as to why one of them was unconscious for the whole episode when she was up and energetic before. And why was Rin's body letting off smoke there after the fight?

This series is setting up a lot of mysteries, but I don't know if it plans to answer all or even any of them when all is said and done.

To be honest, some of these mysteries may have already been solved, but just not explained out-right. In a way, you can say that is way Tatsuki writes his stories.
At the least, it is hard to catch everything with just one watch. Heck, if it wasn't for other people, I wouldn't have even realized the words that appeared on the kemurikusa Wakaba was holding and playing around with.
As for Rina, it seems that they are one person and can fuse back together or split at will. So probably, the one sleeping is the main body.

badass episode today. That nushi was like a boss fight in a video game.
it's fortunate that large robot did not fire it's laser directly into their train car.

Wakaba still annoying voice, but he did good this time.
Is that small robot near the end came from the wreck of the nushi that they defeated?

Yes and since it did not have the red tint anymore I guess it was reporting to the normal bots. This lends more weight to the Tron theory, I think.

Definitely one of my favorites this season. The group travelling to the unknown in their japari bus gives Kemono friends season 1 feel.

Episode 5 was pretty much another snooze-fest of scenery porn and Wakaba being and idiot. That is, except for the last 10 seconds of the episode. It's the first time during the series that I've actually felt intrigued.

Is Midori-chan the one carry the bus or is it Ritsu power that carry the bus?

Wakaba should have taken the small robot with him! Would be helpful pet.

That everything is happening inside a computer system. The girls are all programs. So the system is under viral attack and water is free system resources.

She was in the prequels, but she has not made an official appearance in the TV anime until now, though her shadow is in both the OP and ED.

It seems one of the writers of the info on the yellow Kemurikusa is the Rina when she was just one person.

And it's a big surprise seeing Riku alive. I wonder why she does not want to be seen by the other girls?
