As for G4U, seems as of right now there's no plans for it to become DLC. Seems like they're just going to pair volumes 2~9 with the anime Blu-ray releases. Volume 1? They say its only available with the Limited Edition of the iM@S2 game.

Lets keep our fingers crossed though, I dont wanna have to pay 8000yen for each G4U+iM@S anime set...I love iM@S but not that much...or rather I cant afford to love it that much. orz

Oh, and they picked up iM@S2 for this weeks "Weekly Toro Station" on the JP PSN. A few screenshots of the PSP version:

The 3DS is region locked only for 3DS games, so yes, I'd imagine it would work without problems.

I was wondering because Dearly Stars is a "DSi-enhanced" game and DSi's are region-locked... Thought there might be a connection.

Update: Thanks to the personal experiences of shinku no kage, it seems like the game is playable on an American DSLite at the very least. It won't support the camera functions of course, but it works. If it works out be sure to throw him a cookie laters, I hear he likes those. xD

Mhm, each G4U game has different themes and settings, so fans usually want them all and whatnot.
