Sorry, I don't want my characters to marry some big, burly, hairy guy. T.T My female characters in Skyrim dig the ladies.

I don't see the big deal, theres absolutely no relationship besides one or two new lines. Unless you got some mod installed

To each their own tho.

So far only two of my characters have formed a partnership (married). My assassin dark elf femme tied up with Ysolde and moved to Solitude. My half-Khajit Breton femme sneakthief experiment has married the blacksmith in Riften right above the Thieves Guild.

Marrying gets a bit more useful when you add the "spouse runs a store" mod so you can sell him/her stuff and they "sell it" and share the proceeds with you later.

Don't forget that one of the werewolf brothers have a messed up skill set and as such, is not useful in high level battles even when properly levelled up.
(He got given NPC skills of a Blacksmith instead of a Warrior.)

If a follower dies, they are gone for good, but I could always just reload an older save, right?

So Aela is a werewolf. Does she ever get cured of that?

As neat as the idea of having three waifus is, I'll probably just go with one waifu. I'm leaning towards Mjoll The Lioness at the moment. Hopefully I can find a way to get rid of Aerin without killing him. Is there a way to get rid of him with console commands?

Edit: Found a mod to get rid of Aerin. Ahh, mods.

Does this pertain to the question about Aerin? Also, I found a mod that makes him go away when you marry Mjoll.

Who should I marry? Should I marry all three and just switch out who I adventure with from time to time?
I married Ysolda the merchant because I don't like using the followers in an unmodded game (they're much better modded, but back when I was playing the mod tools hadn't been released yet).

It gave me an extra store with 750 gold to start and every day she'd sell to other NPCs and make me another 100 gold (which stacks up as long as you're away). It wasn't long until I had over 300k gold and owned every house in Skyrim.

I married Ysolda with my first character (this first character I abandoned). For women in Skyrim, I really like Ysolda. I've been planning out a second character to play that will be a warrior and will adventure with her wife, but I'd like to play the game with a third character, too (stealth character) and I think I'll have her marry Ysolda.

My first character had many perks in alchemy. Alchemy can help you earn soo much money. My third character I want to make her excel in archery and alchemy. Will probably put her in archer armor. Here is a pic of archer armor (from a mod):

Spoiler for Archer Armor:

Don't mind him, he's just not-so-subtly pissed off that girls and gaming are no longer mutually exclusive.

I have to agree it takes some work wandering through all the crappy bad lingerie armor mods to find something that is stylish and at least marginally functional in a high fantasy.

There's simply a scarcity of armor mods for male characters in comparison ...

So the particle effects on my game seem to have been taken through the ringer with this most recent patch. Fire is the most obvious, though parts of the sky and building is also disappearing into clouds of square pixels. (I checked my mods, removing them has no effect. The only external suspect I can think of is the most recent driver I installed from AMD for the GPU.)

Anyone have any clue what set this off and a method of fixing it, as I'd rather not sit around waiting for two days for the whole game to re-download on my slooooow internet.

If you kept the previous driver, try re-installing that. If that doesn't fix it, you may have try different graphic settings than before.

So far, the the main difference I'm encountering in 1.5 is more CTD on zoning.

my game crashed during the second part of dustman cairn, the game is really crasing when you're zoning in some places, like dungeons, cities, houses and etc.

it's me or those people on Skyrimnexus is a bunch of douchebags?

the mods there ban you without asking for bullshit

No, it isn't just you... they seem to be the kind of forums I minimize contact with because the mods think the submitters are too delicate to take any criticism at all (especially the ones who post absurd infantile mods like (look! nekkid armor with J-size cups!!!! Buttplugs! Sechzy!), did we really need another one?

For what are supposedly adults running the site (hiring programmers, etc), some of the mods appear to have the moderating skills of a 5 year old who just discovered naughty jokes

OTOH, the Steam workshop is so squeaky clean its disney-obnoxious, so I'll just grit my teeth and pick through the crap for the gems
======================================
As for the crashes... it *seems* to happen more when I go "inside-outside" or vice versa than it does when moving "inside-inside" or "outside-outside". Dunno, I just report it to the devs and save more often.

Ran into an interesting oddity the other day... my personally created companion mod that I'm using with one character has gone stark raving nuts in the alternate universes of other characters. With the Nord I created her for, she's fine... but when any other character visits her start point, she's trying to kill everyone in the inn - and since she's essential all the other NPCs can do is knock her down. One time she killed half the town...
Turned her data file off til I get a chance to diagnose her petite tsundere turned yandere...
