how can i get into the IRC network??

It may be stupid to ask... but do i type in that "irc.mircx.com" into my explorer??

Read the link Forse gave you, it's all you need to know to get started. And no, you can't use IRC in your browser, you have to get an IRC client like mIRC.

If you want to download anime in an easy way, then I would recommend bittorent, or even kazaa, instead of IRC.

Download an IRC-client of www.mirc.com
You need to put in a new server in the settings, irc.mircx.com
When you connect to the server, you can type in /join #animeone and then you will join the #animeone channel...
