guess it allows for an easier way to customize? but yeh clear green wouldnt be too bad either

also something about the way the sword is being held isnt as how it is in images, i bet bandai might release a different right hand with it. but this hand definitly shows more movement with the sword

Well, seems thats the prototype is bulkier than the line art.

And now after having a glimsp at the product itself, it can be clearly seen that all Bandai have to do is to swap the arms and replace the backpack and we have ourselves the Deathscythe Hell Custom.

It's the same thing they did with the MG Wing Ver. Ka to MG Wing Zero Custom anyways, so it's inevitable given the material. Given the likelihood of that, I'd rather buy the MG Deathscythe Hell once it's out.

I know the professional detail completion helps alot and this is an "official touched up" pics, but man is this thing a work of art.

I hope the final articulation would be equal of the incredible HG 00 Gundam. and I REALLY hope the blades plastic would come with the clear green........

I do not understand what you mean by this, thats actually a good thing. It allows us to color the them with clear green and do they look super awesome in clear green like in the ad pics. Those who want the usual black can either leave it as it is, and this will reflect its default non-use state that appears in the linearts [and honestly, neither is the more correct color other than the other; they just reflect the current state of the Condensers]. This just gives the full color option to the modeler on what is a subjective issue. You can essentially complete all the color on the 00Q or amost other AD Gundam model and leave the Condensers as default or clear green like the ad; and either choice would still be considered "complete".

With that GN Sword IV, it can probably perform Omnislash.

the mode change from sword mode to "rifle" mode is ugly... >_>

the "sword mode + sword bits" is quite good..

the "rifle mode + sword(/rifle?)bits" is very ugly...

So, the GN Sword IV works just like the GN Sword 2.

Bits can be used to make a diamond shape Beam rifle/cannon?

and used to make a buster sword.

If look close enough the Buster sword and Cannon mode seem to be one and the same?

P.S. like the second sword we get to attach the sword bits wit. Gunpla is gonna be soooooo much fun when his comes out

I've always liked the 00 Qan[T] the best out of all the movie Gundams design-wise, but previously thought it was gimmick deficient. But THIS is too beautiful

Now for the rest of the Gundams. They should start showing off more of Zabanya, since they both come out the same month. >.>

The GN Sword IV Rifle Mode looks ugly in my opinion. It has turned out mostly as I speculated in being a repeat of the GN Sword II "style" however personally I have a problem with the lack of a "stock" that continues after the handle into the forehand. I was hoping that the blue cap can act as something that connects to the forhand but that does not seem feasable afterall looking at the model.

The GN Sword II can be posed in a simular style as well, by closing the stock with the handle like in official Sword Mode style. This allows the hand to have more grip with the weapon however the lack of the stock that continues perpendicularly to the handle like in official Rifle mode was just to bothersone to the eyes personally for me to leave it like that. In the case of GN Sword IV, I believe that style has becone the official one if not the only one. I know its just a personal taste thing but it just bothers me alot. It makes it look more like a stockless shotgun when I'd rather it be closer to an assault rifle handle look.

Im hoping that the top bluecap can rotate 90 degree clockwise at least, even if it cannot reach the forearm.

---------

Anyways, the other modes look awesome. omnislash potential indeed. I especially love the Bits compatability.

I wish they'll include some mechanism to Sword Bits in the air. Like a clear wire similar to the one for GN Sword II Short model.
