Aside from that, Aurion and Nagi are hardly copies. Sure, they have a similarity or two (such as being extremely obnoxious at times) but Nagi is very impulsive and hardly 'intelligent.' He hardly ever thinks things through and even as an adult he still needs to recite spells from a notebook.

Lowe's got most of it right ; I'll expand from there, digging up from what I've read and researched on how things happen:

1. The first stage in the debriefing process is what is called the "Hot Wash" - at least, by American forces. This is where everyone comes in and does an oral critique of what happened, what went wrong, what went right, etc etc. When this takes place is normally at the discretion of the CO and unit styles, but generally you want to do it within the first 24 hours. For example, Rangers will do their hot wash immediately; according to CSM (Ret) E.L. Haney, Delta lets you sleep first, then hot wash. SEALs also tend to do the hot wash immediately, then rest. The idea of the hot wash is that it's a quick preliminary debriefing, a recap of what happens.

2. After the hot wash, you go and catch some sleep and food. Then, you go, get interviewed again on what happened - because there's the chance that you may remember something you'd forgotten.

3. Third step is the writing of the AAR: After Action Report. This is your account and report of what happened, warts and all, good and bad; your personal AAR will be filed up with the mission documentation. There will be both a main AAR written by the brass on the mission, and the individual AARs written by those woh participated in the battle; to give an example, there are at least 3 AARs on the Battle of Magadishu, written by USAF Technical Sergeant Dan Schilling, Delta Force Sergeant First Class Paul Howe, and SEAL Chief John Gay (I am not making up the last name. A side piece of trivia: Gay and 3 other SEALs from SEAL Team Six/DEVGRU were in the Lost Convoy, and Gay took a bullet to the hip. The bullet hit his combat knife, shattering the blade, but he lived and wasn't paralysed. One of those SEALs was a Lieutanant Commander Eric T. Olsen, now Admiral Eric T. Olsen, Commanding Officer USSOCOM.) These individual AARs are in addition to the overall AAR prepared by Task Force Ranger's staff.

4. Final debrief and evaluation. Everyone gathers together, they all go through the mission one last time, and then the brass evaluates what went right, what could have been done better, and so on. Depending on the unit and the brass, this may be fairly interactive. (In the recollections of Captain Mike Steele, Delta Force planning and debrief sessions have a great deal of Fuck Yous thrown around, with ever rising hot blood and adrenalin until it appeared as if everyone's ready to fight each other. )

5. AARs are collected and the Brass finishes up on the main AAR that gives an overview of the whole mission.

The idea of the hot wash is that you get the basic first impressions of the soldiers, which are then used as your first draft. Then you send them to sleep and get some food, they come back refreshed, and then you redo the debriefing. The reason it's called Hot Wash is because you're stepping right from the heat of battle, where the memory is the freshest. SEALs are firm believers in immediate hot wash and debriefing, though this is probably due to the fact that SEALs deal with highly time-sensitive intelligence.

To expand further, and to repeat, whether they get the resting time depends on the whole process. As I've mentioned above, debriefing isn't just a one-off thing: there's the hot wash and then further reports.

To sum up, process is as follows: Immediate hot wash, rest & food, 2nd debrief & interview, AAR writing, final debriefing. Normally the first few steps will take place withing 24 hours (Hot wash, 2nd debrief, AAR writing). The Final debrief and overall command-level AAR will normally show up within 48-72 hours, to give time for all the other aspects to be sorted through and checked.

The scene is in no way Awesome. If you want awesome, I suggest you read this Part XIV Verse Finality ~ Ender’s Nightmare by Nightengale.

Though actually, I'm very dissatisfied with Aurion's current profile. No matter what, his spell rankings are incredibly HAXXed now despite his supposedly lower power. And the two Regression Impulse attacks are already worth a disqualification vote for sheer HAXX already that I'm appaled that nobody's screaming at me right now for that. Damn, what was I thinking then...?

I cannot leave it like this! I'm going to do a lot of editting, most prominently almost completely rewriting the Perfect Void Incident to at least make it sound more Nanorealistic. I'll also power-down, edit, rename and delete(lol the concept XD) some spells. More nerfing follows for the ideal base for Aurion in GenerationS, which is my insert in Kerokanon, which, in turn, is the timeline that I'll be primarily following now.

Vivio has changed over the years. What was once a bright-eyed girl looking forward to the future is now held back by her own self-doubt and worry. She can be stubborn at times, but has a tendancy to cave in. Years of moving around from place to place have left her feeling mistrustful of others, especially the closer they get to her; the sole exception to this rule is Syn, and the two share a strong bond. Much like her mother Fate, she can be loving and kind, but because of how the past eight years of her life have been thanks to her mother Nanoha, she's not quite as stable as she used to be.

It's storage form is a red sphere gem with yellow "flames" in it, thus resembling a mix of Bardiche and Raising Heart. When active, the Device becomes a Bo Staff, allowing Vivio to fight in melee. Her own special brand of fighting is directly tuned to the ID, and thanks to the Device's personality, the two get along well. Vivio calls Sacred Dream "Yume", and the Device itself randomly gives Vivio some form of honorific. ("Ma'am, master, mistress, etc.")

Barrier Jacket: As it was briefly in StrikerS, but with different colors; primarily white with red trim.

Spells:
Attack Spells:
Silver Fang: Standard melee spell for Vivio. Two silver "fangs" of light emit out of stand, both of them on the same side and general location. Converts the Staff into a Slashing Weapon.

Silver Spear: As above, but modifies the staff into a Piercing Weapon.
Silver Strike: By charging the staff with magical energy, Vivio unleashes a powerful attack against her opponent.

Sunwell Shot: As Nanoha's Divine Shooter, but at point-blank range (up to 2m), and only one shot per cast.
Moonwell Smasher: Same as Nanoha's Divine Buster, but instead requires significantly more charge time.

Ashbringer: Similar to Fate's Zamber Form; Vivio summons a gigantic blade of energy to attack her opponents with.
Stormstrike: The Staff becomes charged with lightning, and a spear-tip forms again. Vivio can hurl the spear great distances (100m is her record; this is a magically-enhanced throw, mind you).

Medivh: Vivio channels more energy into her staff and swings it in an arc, emitting a powerful burst of energy that causes massive damage (for her rank).

Starlight Sunder: Collection-type energy blast spell. Vivio channels energy into her hands then cuts loose with a torrent of energy.

Background

Himawari Nissan is the ex-student council president, and Eta Swordsmanship squad captain at Gakutenoh Academy, the same school that the infamous Belkarengers once went to. She is currently 19 and is an expert with swords, specifically the Eta style of kendo.

Sunny's first encounter with the fanon cast goes back several years, when she and Sophia were in the same class in Middle School. According to several males, the pair, together with several other female students, were dubbed the "Moderators" who ruled Gakutenoh with an iron fist. Any mention of that to any member of the label would invoke a rapid beating of harisen, kendo-sword or kaleido-stick, so do watch out.

Himawari first met Artei 4 years back, when he was on a seek-and-destroy mission at the huge Gakutenoh campus, and the playboy ended up rescuing her. Sunny-san had been helping a baby bird who had fallen out of its nest, but due to her fear of heights, had become stuck without her realizing it. Artei helped her down the tree, but his rather frank advances afterwards earned him a fierce rebuke and unending spite of the Moderators ever since.

Himawari is sometimes referred to as being rather masculine for a girl. This is exemplified on Valentine's Day as Artei remembered, where Himawari, as well as Sophia, were given a lot of chocolates by female admirers. Mayuri suggested this was because Sunny-chan is seen as being "cooler" than the boys, and the fact that she was rather domineering at a younger age. Her athleticism, competitiveness, and leadership position all also probably contribute to this view.

She has pink hair; however, its is noted once in Riot 6 Goes to Tokyo, that Allison Ford seemed like a younger, cheerier, girlier Himawari with strawberry-orange hair. What is the link between them? Stay tuned to find out!

Oh and the hairband Himawari is always seen wearing, was a birthday present from her real parents.

I was under the impression that the abandoned city area was the area encompassing that huge fire that we saw at the start of Strikers. Although hayate put the fire out the buildings would have been closed to the public due to safety issues.. while the TSAB figure out what to do with the area (redevelopment, etc..). The military are just using the more stable parts of it. *shrug*

I could be wrong completely of course but it is IMO a decent explanation for it if there's official reason for it being there.

Scene III. It's a little longer than the previous 2 scenes (I know because it wouldn't let me PM it to Goose).

Light-years away, a different door opened.

Vivio stepped inside her home and slid her shoes off, muttering a soft "I'm home." Stepping around the shoes, Vivio thought about walking straight to her room, but thought that maybe she should at least give her mom a cursory hello before starting her homework. Still my mom. She thought to herself as she walked through the corridor to the living room, heading to the kitchen in the back. The TV was on and muted, usually an indicator of Nanoha watching something she didn't like... this meant that she'd be in an even worse mood than normal.

Stopping at the threshold and peeking inside, she saw Nanoha sitting at the dining room table with her back to her daughter, reading a paper; probably work-stuff. This came as no surprise to Vivio; ever since Nanoha had come back from off-world, she landed a desk job in the TSAB facilities here in the city. Though she didn't quite understand it (having heard Nanoha's stories about flying and training others since she was six), she figured that whatever had happened had something to do with her... well, her.

For a while, Vivio said nothing as she watched her mom read. Nanoha was silent as she read, a hand playing with a strand of hair absently. Vivio imagined strained, half-squinted blue-purple eyes peering at the report, analyzing its contents and processing them for future reference. It might have been something for logistics, troop movement on the planet, or simply a memo reminding Nanoha about something important. Regardless, she was totally absorbed into it.

Vivio slowly walked up behind Nanoha, keeping her movements soft and her footsteps light, until she was totally behind her mother. She stretched up on her tiptoes, trying to get a good look at the paper.

April 4th, MC0080? she read. This report is three years old! What's she reading it-

Medical Report on Subject VT-001, Sankt Kaiser

Vivio was suddenly a lot more interested. A medical report about me? What, is there something wrong with me? And why are they calling me by my ancestor name? Narrowing her eyes, she began to read.

Captain Takamachi Nanoha,
This report is classified information, dated April 4th, MC0080, concerning the state of your adopted daughter's physical well-being. No one is allowed to see this report, not even your daughter, nor any higher-ranking friends or family. As such, this document is classified under Code OMICRON, For Your Eyes Only.

Your daughter's physical on March 21st has given the medical department some concern, believed to be related to her status as a biological copy of the Sankt Kaiser. The problem lies within her body's cellular structure; she shows the same problems as subject FT-001 (see the report on Harlown, Fate T. that we have sent you), though at an accelerated rate. We believe this to be because of prisoner JS-823543; he did not create your daughter to be a-

Nanoha suddenly started, grabbing the folder the report came in and throwing it over the papers she was looking at. "How much did you see?!"

The sudden shift in attitude caused Vivio to jump and back away from Nanoha. "Wh-what-"
"How much?!" Nanoha repeated, trying desparately to hide the documents. "You shouldn't do stuff like that, Vivio!"
"What's that report about?" Vivio reasserted herself and took a step forward, quickly shifting from surprised to suspicious. "Why is it calling me 'Sankt Kaiser'? What's wrong with my body?"

"It's nothing for you to worry about, Vivio!" Nanoha answered, picking up the last of the papers and stuffing them in the folder. "It's better if you just forgot about it, okay?"

"What's it about, Mama?" Vivio pressed. "Why won't you let me see? It's about me, my body, don't I deserve to know? Please!"

"..." Nanoha paused, looking away. "Listen, Vivio... I don't want you do know. You don't need to know. I wish I didn't know, either."

"Why is Fate-mama mentioned too?" Nanoha's weak defense had already collapsed; not surprising, as that was far too easy nowadays. "What's this stuff about celluar structures and accelerated rates? Mom, answer me!"

Nanoha simply looked away, unable to meet her daughter's eyes. "I... I can't tell you... I'm sorry."
"Stop apologizing!" Vivio shouted at her, clenching a fist. "Why do you always do this?! Why can't you be normal anymore?!"

"I..." Nanoha seemed on the verge of tears... again. "Vivio, I... I can't, okay? I can't show you."
"..." Vivio narrowed her eyes and lowered them to the ground. "Why are you doing this, mama? What happened to our family? Why are you pushing us all away now? What gives you the right to hurt my feelings this way?!"

"...it will be easier... in the long run," Nanoha said unconvincingly. "For you, and for me."
"Liar," Vivio said, her voice cracking slightly. "I hate this... you've been like this for years... I want my old mama back... not you!" Vivio turned around and stormed out of the kitchen, her hair like fire trailing behind her. Nanoha didn't watch her go, but as she heard Vivio run up the stairs and slam her door shut, she sank to her knees and put a hand to her mouth. The papers she so desparately hid from Vivio dropped to the floor, forgotten, as she sank into deep despair.

"I'm sorry..." she whispered to the air. "I can't protect you anymore... I can't stop destiny, Vivio... and I can't make it less painful," she looked to the floor, her hair falling across her shoulders like water. "I'm so sorry..."

In her room, Vivio, in her rage, threw her satchel at the far wall. She screamed, a cry of sadness of anger, and clenched her fists as tightly as she could and rammed one into the wall next to her door, cracking it vertically and splintering the drywall, forming another sore spot on a wall that already had dozens. Finding solace in the throbbing pain in her hand, Vivio dropped down on her bed. Holding the hand gently, she fought back tears of two different kinds of pain.

"I'm just like her..." she said to herself. Mama, I just want you back... but I can't even look at you without either getting angry. What's wrong with me?! What are you hiding?

Vivio clenched her eyes shut and purged the thoughts from her mind. She was in no mood to think about this; the burning in her chest and the pain in her hand faded as she tried to focus on things that made her happy. Her friend, Syn, her mother, Fate, her sister, Keroko; anything that would take her mind off of the woman who was just below her, letting herself fall into despair.

Vivio swore not to be like that. If she had problems, she would talk about them! That's what family and friends were for! She would refuse to fall into sadness. That was not her! ...right?

Sitting up, Vivio nodded to herself. "Right. I am not her. I am not Nanoha Takamachi. I am Vivio Takamachi," it was the same speech she had given herself hundreds of times. Usually it helped. "I'll be damned if I will end up like that. I don't know what it's going to take, mama, but I know that one day, you'll get out of it..." she looked around her room as she said this - at the holes in the wall, the destroyed objects that littered the floor, the ripped posters and the computer that didn't work because Vivio had decided to throw it at Nanoha one day - and promised herself, not for the first time, that she would stop. "I have to... for her... for Fate-mama... and because it's not worth it, ne?"

She walked over to her satchel and picked it up. "Mama... I love you... really, I do... I just want to work things out between us... between all of us... before something bad happens..." setting the satchel down on her desk, Vivio pulled her cellphone out of her pocket and dialed a number, one that she had memorized. Calming herself down and trying desparately to feel normal, she sat down to do homework. As the phone rang, she picked up a pen and set it next to her left hand. While she reached in her satchel for a book, the other line picked up.

"Hey, V," Syn greeted. "...are you okay?"
"...I did it again," Vivio said after a pause, opening a science text and flipping to the correct page.
"Ah," Syn said. "Who was the victim this time?"
"The wall again," Vivio said almost casually. Pulling a piece of paper from the desk, she began to write and talk at the same time. "I'm sorry, S... I told you I'd stop this."

"And I told you it wouldn't happen overnight, V," Syn said in an almost scolding way. From the sounds in the background, Vivio decided that Syn was at a bus stop; usually the one she took home. "It's only been two weeks since you asked for my help in this. You have to give it time; like I said, you have to vent your anger, talk yourself down, and then talk with someone else about what's wrong. So, spill."

"..." Vivio paused and leaned back in her chair, sitting on two legs. "Well... I saw something today. It was a report from three years back," At the thought of the paper, Vivio felt her anger rising again, but shoved it back down. "It was... about me..."

"Oh?" Syn sounded curious. "What was it about?"
"I'm not sure... Nanoha-mama kind of tried to hide it from me." Vivio began to chew on the end of her pen. "It's really weird... but I wanna know what's in it..."

"That does seems odd," Syn agreed. "What did you see on it?"
"Something about cellular structure, a relation between me and Fate-mama... and something about 'Omicron'-"
"Woah," Syn interrupted. "Omicron? That's one of the highest levels of TSAB security!"
"Is it? I don't know... maybe I read it wrong." Vivio suddenly became worried. What is it? Am I dangerous? Do I have a disease or something? "They listed me as 'Vee Tee dash zero zero one.'"

"I'll look into it," Syn assured her. "If I find out anything, I'll let you know."
"How are you going to find out?" Vivio asked, though she was fairly certain she knew.
"Same way I find everything out! Dad's computer!" Syn said. From the sound of her voice, Vivio knew she was smiling like a Cheshire cat.

"Just don't get caught, S," Vivio told her as she sat the chair back down on four legs and stared at her science book.
"I won't! Trust me, V!"
"...okay." Vivio sighed. "One day, I'm gonna have to bail you out of jail, aren't I?"

"Nah," Syn assured her. "You won't be able to! You'll be sitting next to me in the cell!"
Vivio's eyes widened. "What?"
"Well, you know, I'm sure we'd get in trouble by having sex in the park-"
"Syn!" Vivio gasped, taking the bait. "Why would you-" Vivio was interrupted by Syn's full-throated laughter.
"You believed me again!" Syn said gleefully.
"...you know I'm not in the mood for jokes, Syn..." Vivio huffed.
"Yeah, but you feel better now, don't ya?"

Vivio paused, thinking. She realized that it felt like a small bit of weight had come off of her shoulders. "Uh... well, yeah... I do."

"See? I treat you well, V," Syn said. "Leave it to me to cheer you up, okay?"
"I don't wanna rely solely on you, S," Vivio deadpanned.
"I know, but it's nice to need each other, right?" Syn told her.
"...yeah." Vivio smiled.

"I'll tell you what I find out, V," Syn assured her.
"Okay. I look forward to it, S,".
"Bye, V,"
"Bye, S,"

Vivio hung up the phone and put it down on her desk. She always knows how to make me feel better. she mused as she dived into her homework. I wonder how?

On the floor below, Nanoha lay on the couch with a hand clutching the Sankt Kaiser report tightly. An arm rested on her closed eyes as she wondered if maybe, for once, she should go up to Vivio's room and talk to her.

No... she decided. It would cause too much grief, for either of us...

Rolling over onto her side, Nanoha used both her arms as a pillow, and tried falling asleep.
