I've only watched it on TV, so I had no translation, but here's my synopsis:
Person 1: "Quick, let's get on this Mech fad!" Person 2: "I know, let's do Mechs under water!" Person 1: "Yeah!" add to that, ugly characters, and no cuteness aside from one little girl who is probably not a main character, and that's the last episode you'll see this shoujo lover watch. Now, if you like Mech stuff and don't require cute, this show may be just for you! |

It's Studio BONES. I feel it cannot go wrong. I mean, look at their past works -- RahXephon, Wolf's Rain, Scrapped Princess, and Fullmetal Alchemist -- all of them are somewhere among my favorites!! I'm so glad they're releasing something new, even if it is mecha (which I'm not a big fan of, though I loved RahXephon)... btw, anyone know what the deal is with their Hiou anime? The one with the puppets? No one's ever licensed and/or subbed it... is it just not good?
Anyway, I'm downloading episode 1 of this right now. I can't wait!! |

From screenshots, it reminds me of Overman King Gainer in that its not your regular mecha. That, and the coloring scheme and character design seem similar. (Sidenote: Somebody license or fansub Gainer already!!!!) |
