The aliens figure they're safe now that some silly hairless monkeys have falsely claimed credit

I know near everything is tracked these days for some database, but I have to say. It's still creepy.
What I find creepier is what they're doing to *conceal* it once they figured out their data-mining was scaring people.

Apparently August 1st was Happy Yaoi Day!

Nevertheless, a happy belated Happy Yaoi Day!

Heh, Facebook itself is a questionable enterprise... shareholders are going to want all those purged so that only "real personal data" gets hoovered up for sale.

Advertisers are the one fetting their hands burned while GS and Zuckerberg are laughing their way to the bank.

You'd be surprised at how much of a treasure trove of personal information it can be......

North Korea Invades America in Dumbest Movie Ever:

"North Korean paratroopers descend on an American small town. U.S. military
resistance collapses. Korean armored vehicles roll down the streets unopposed
except for a band of heavily armed bros in hoodies.

No, these are not images from some teenage gamer’s fever dream. They’re
scenes from the movie Red Dawn, a remake of the 1984 cult classic about a joint
Cuban-Soviet invasion of the U.S. and the attractive young American insurgents
— the Wolverines — who help defeat it. The revamped Red Dawn, starring Chris
Hemsworth, a.k.a. Thor, blasts into theaters in November.

But don’t expect it to linger very long. Where the 1984 original successfully
played upon widespread public fears over a supposedly rising and belligerent
Soviet Union, the remake expects viewers to take North Korea seriously as an
existential threat. We’re guessing the flick is going to get a lot of unintended
laughs."

so the producers swapped in North Korea, a country no one counts on for ticket sales.
This is the one that make me laugh hard.

Prank Egypt TV show exposes depth of Israel hostility:

"A prank Egyptian talk show that infuriates guests by duping them into believing
they are on Israeli TV reveals the antipathy many hold for the Jewish state despite
a wintry peace treaty between the neighbours.

"Judgement after Deliberations," aired nightly by private Nahar satellite television
during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, invites guests on the air under the
pretence that they are participating in a German talk show.

But once the show is under way, they are told that they are on Israeli television.

The guests -- artists, politicians, writers -- are invariably outraged."

I'm guessing that this will become a blockbuster hit for NK, the invasion portion of it at least...

Well, if you grow up being taught to hate a place and people, you get this kind of reaction...

About the Red Dawn reboot: At least the behind story is that it's some sort of East Asian Socialist Coalition, so basically it is PRC footing the bill using DPRK manpower in that particular front.
